March 07 Issue of OXM
02.11.07 - The Monsters
Many of you are aware that we were featured in the March 07 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Sure, the site has been linked to from OXM several times now, but never have we had a full-blown article written just about us! The feature is on page 87 and it even includes a shot of both of us Monsters! Monster 1 of 2 is on the left and Monster 2 of 2 is on the right. The picture is fairly large, although Monster 2 of 2 has been complaining that it made his arms look tiny.
We decided to put up a scan of the article for all of our non-US readers, since they won't be able to actually see the article since this is an exclusive to the US flavor of OXM. You'll have to wait for us to get featured in the UK OXM for a closer look.
The OXM staff was nice enough to mention several features of our site, such as our Achievement Guides and Walkthroughs. They also decided to mention our Marketplace Map, which many people aren't aware that we have. Just to let everyone know, that particular feature has been running since May 21st, 2006, which was ages before the Xbox Live Pipeline. Also included within the article are a few quotes, an embarrassing moniker a few people have used on us ("Lords of the Points"), and Monster 2 of 2 throwing in his two cents on his "amazing skillz" at Ridge Racer 6.
If you flip back a page you will find an interview with our good friend and affiliate Morgon, who runs the every-growing MyGamerCard.net. He talks about many of the features on MGC and how they got started. You can view his take on the article right here. If you really want to, you can even leave a comment about it too.
Feel free to discuss our feature on the forums. If you have any questions for us, ask them there. Stupid questions *might* be ignored, although we hate to call any question stupid.
We have another interview lined up as well which (hopefully) will be available for all you to enjoy within the month. We can't mention who it is with or, for that matter, what it is about until it goes public. However, nothing keeps us from telling you that we have an interview with someone regarding some things which can be viewed somewhere. Yes, that will do it. Good times for the site!
