WARNING: Glitch

I don't know if this has happened to any one here, but there has been talk that a certain number of players have been having their Notes glitched to the point that they can't get 100/100 notes for certain levels.

Some people are saying that this has to do with Bottles' Puzzles. So just to be safe, make sure you do all the puzzles AFTER you get 100/100 Notes for all worlds.

Unlucky for me, I did the puzzles first, and now my notes are stuck. :(

Get all 100 notes first AND dont look at Bottles Puzzles until you do get the 100 notes first THEN only after getting the 100 notes go talk to bottles for his puzzles!

Yeah, something's up with the notes on this game. If you look at the leaderboards, there's a guy who finished the game with 903 notes. Somehow he got 103 on Bubblegoop Swamp and just for that he's #1 on the boards; funny. If your game is stuck, you can always start a new game even though it sucks.

Yeah so i have 896 notes and cant get the last 4 that are supposed to be in the beehive in click clock wood because i did the stupid bottles puzzle before i beat the level and now i cant get the achievement unless i play the entire thing over. really lame. beat the game before you do the puzzles!

LOL. I can't believe this crap, the exact same thing happened to me! They should really fix this; if you look at the leaderboards, this has happened to a lot of people. I'm guessing this is why the N64 version had it where the notes would reset every time you left a world. I wouldn't mind immediately playing through this again to get my last 25 points but I played the crap out this game 10 years ago and for now I'm over it. So yeah, GET ALL 900 NOTES BEFORE YOU DO BOTTLES PUZZLES!

I was already annoyed they made the notes not reset after each level exit before I knew there was a glitch. If you can't find a few, it's easier to just restart and tally which one's you've gotten. But now that my game was glitched on the beehive notes, I have even more reason to be ****ed about it. Way to fail, Rare.

Rare fixed the glitch with the latest update, but it only fixes new save files so if you already miss notes bc of the glitch youll have to start all over again. not worth it to me...

Well I re did it, but only because I was half way through originally.
The second run was pretty much a rush and I beat it in a few hours.

Apparently they didn't fix the glitch. I just got the game a few days ago (4/26) and the notes in the beehive are glitched for me.
