I have yet to complete Action mode but I easily hit Level 5 and 6 every time I try. Something that apparently is a feat in itself.

The first three levels are easy, if you can't beat them, stop playing this game. Try other modes to learn how to play and what to watch for. You should be able to easily hit level 4, but don't rush through the first three. Start by making advanced cubes but try not to use them. If you can have Hyper cubes, great, but I'll explain why they won't last in a minute.

Next you're going to need fast eyes. And by fast I mean FAST! if you can't find a move in under 3 seconds you're going to get railed, if you ever use hints you're going to lose alot (you can survive by using hints once in a blue moon but on level 5+ you lose a good amount for each)

Now we have to discuss the simple mechanics of the game.
Simple line. Little growth.
Making a powercube. little bit bigger growth.
small Combo, good growth.
Big combo (excellent+) Huge growth.
Any time waiting. Lose of "bar"
The size of the growth is up to the level. At level 1 a very good combo will complete it instantly. At level 5, a great combo will barely reach a quater of the bar. Can you make two lines in one move? do it! that's obviously better.

Finally the way the game works. You can't run out of Moves in Action mode, it's impossible, the game cheats for you. It's the same as Endless mode. If you have 1 move left, and complete it in the stuff that drops another move WILL be droped in or made after all the pieces drop, period. All you have to do is find it. Just remember if a big combo happens that move might be much lower than you expect. But a move will be available.

If you don't believe this play endless mode for as long as you can stand. You'll see what I'm speaking about. You can't lose.

The best secret I can give is play endless mode, and play it fast. Start learning on how to focus faster and faster. As you complete a combo, send your eye searching for the next combo, can't find any, find the dropping piece as fast as possible. Level 20 on endless takes far more combos than any level in action, but you'll be able to pretend you're in action.

Spotters are good but once you reach level 6, you MUST hit combos, you won't be able to even stay at the spot you are on the bar if you arn't hitting a line every second. Above that it'll only get harder (I only hit 7 once) Spotters are only worthwhile when they are looking for large combos, if they are looking for single moves you'll be able to do it faster.

On the other hand if your goal is score rather then achievements, stay around level 5, it's a good point position, but not too fast. Just when you get towards the top of the bar, use a hint and wait a couple seconds so you don't accidently complete the level, if you're going all out you should break 200,000 easily.
