Why are there so many idiots online?

Nearly every time I have played this online I have some dude come join my game and smash up buldings all the way to raw materials and just mess around breaking stuff.
One dude today after I asked him if he would be so kind to make a banner tower for me proceeded to do so but then destroyed all the other towers that I had collected! Bast***!

Lucky I save every few mins as there are some real aholes playing this online!

Seriously; I joined one game and tried to build a banner tower. I couldn't even build the town workshop for one jerk destroying it.

So I left feedback, set him as an "avoided" player, and joined a new match -- and ended up right back in the same game with the same idiot. Hooray for Microsoft's custom matchmaking system. :rolleyes:

Definitely save often. I kicked several people out of matches that my friends and I had started. Just pull the RT, toggle down to the player you want out, then press X.

Just save a lot and as soon as someone u don't know joins folow him and as soon as he hits anything press RT and his name and then X really quick. If he destroyed something but not to raw material yet just relocate the building and u get it back :)

same very thing happened he built a tower and then smashed them all except for some reason my boyfriends.

but yeah second time actually playing this on live so i didnt really expect it for some reason. ohhh well i learned like other people said to save:/ then some kid joined as teh grant char and smashed stuff... lol idk why but it was kinda funny, think maybe he was thinking he was being sneaky?

I played online last night. Was actually working with 3 people to build a good city. I saved at 6 banners and left it on when I went to bed. Woke up to the 10 banner and 20 banner achieves but my town was completely and totally wrecked lol.

I always get they one person that comes in makes a tower then destroys eveyone else's...It is like they want theirs to be the only one... I save everytime someone comes into the game ...has saved alot of rebuilding and if I can not get to them in time to boot them I just exit game and reload the save I have....

Got about 25 towers so if you see me playing send me a tell and I will invite you in.

I got my 10 towers, joined a game with 20 towers, and intend to be done for a bit with online for this game. I got sick of not being able to get any progress due to having to follow people around. When I'm feeling more patient I may try it again. Though the guys I joined from on here were really nice, thanks :).

I agree, people are so spiteful, I dont get why they do it. :mad:

I learnt the hard way to save regularly. I like the advice of saving whenever someone comes into your village. Shame you need to.

As a result I am really struggling to get 10 banners, I would really appreciate anyone leaving me a banner, I will also leave a banner for anyone who needs them

Yeah i'd have to agree totally with those who have posted here. There are some really petty, childish, spiteful people out there. I lost count of the amount of people I had to kick when hosting a game building up a wall of banners.

Loved the game, addictive as hell lol, but was spoilt in multiplayer by the imbeciles out there

yah, there are way to many. A few of them also send me messages that are so pathetic. Saying i should have joined there game and built a banner. So yah, pretty much best thing to do is try to memorize the names, which isn't always easy, but i usually remember the most annoying ones.

Just don't forget to submit a player review + choose the avoid player option. It's not much, but it is something you can do to avoid that person in the future.

Yeah avoid player etc. is one way to go, but the problem is it seems that you just get rid of 1 and there are always 2 more to take their place, its just a vicious circle lol. Like I said earlier great game just ruined by imbeciles, glad I have finished the game now.
