How do i get the upper right path of buildings to unlock?

Although the title says it all i'm curious about the path of buildings left of the central square (the very first thing u build in this game)...

I unlocked ALL other buildings (and as far as i know i BUILT at least one of each...) i got like 31 keflings and i think i did all of the majors/kings quests so how do i unlock that path of blueprints...

remember the quest where you had to choose between the business people and the gypsy, well I guess you took the 5 offices :) íf you had chosen for the gypse you would have got the other ones but not the market and stuff like that :)

So i only get one path per game...stupid...

but thx anyways...what are the other buildings used for???


Also it seems there are a lot of parts that are used for nothing...cellar and so on...weird

The "useless" parts, I guess, are for your own experiment. The playing tips in the options menu mentioned about building a soccer pitch. I'd love to try that out some day.
