i got the game with the flight stick when it came out and played the hell out of it for 2 months. big advantage online i think, but i was doing the missions for the third time trying to get the last medal for only using one type of plane and all of a sudden, my B and Y button stopped working. everything else worked but the two buttons.THis happened a long time ago and i just had a big urge to replay it but i find it not as fun with the control, the stick was the whole simulation thing going for me.
I contacted the company, bandia i think, i dont remember anymore and i think i spelled it wrong..., but they said they didnt deal with the flight stick, horace did, or whatever that company that made the actual stick was called. i called them and they dont offer any services.
Im somewhat good with electronics so i opened it up but no clear damage is seen... apart from buying a new one on ebay when they pop up, anyone have any suggestion on how to fix it? its the buttons, or worst case scenaria what if i buy the commercial counterpart and replace the inside part of it and solder everything, and then return the counterpart -im cheap especially this economy i have no more job =(
