ive been through 4 on my 5th 360 headset anyone else have this problem? logitech were are u i need a wireless headset like the original xbox please hurry before i own stock in microsoft.

I hear your pain there. Mine didn't even work right out of the box, so I had to go and get another one, which broke as well. Now I just use my son's. His works fine still.

Strange, i've never heard about this, my one i got in with my 360 still works fine, i don't use it loads as i still find it strange while playing abit, but it's been chucked about all over the place and seems fine.

im on my 5th as well, just buy one from walmart and as soon as its defective take it back, you dont have to take the receipt to exchange it for the same product so just tell them it didnt work and the'll let you grab another.

They have always been bad. I went through countless Xbox 1 headsets and im on my 3rd 360 headset right now. At least they are comfortable IMO.

As the XBOX features USB ports, it would be realy nice if there was a way I could use my own Headset. But I guess they would earn less.....

Hmm, i too never heard of this problem. I think the headsets are just plain alright. I dont really like the over the head thing (i have an abnormally large head) but i liked the way you can move the mic up and down. Mine still works fine and i use it daily.

But the Xbox 1 mic was different. I went through about 3 of them in 1 year.

i had the same problem, i still havent talen it back because i dont use it. i use my halo2 mic. it sucks you cant control the volume or mute, but its way better than the 360 mic.

yeah that happens to me at very random times......its EXTREMELY annoying to not be able to talk to people during CoD online, especially when theyre your friends....

you know 4 th3 xbox had a mic that mad catz made. it was the EXACT same mic model for the 360 and they were ONLY $10. I went through 5 Mad catz mics :| :(

logitech has some expensive gear. I wouldnt mind a headset that goes behind your head insteand of ontop. I wonder why they just didnt make that is adjustable that can go over your head or behind it.

I got mine at launch and I've never had a problem with the headset or the 360. I have been told that cell headsets will work.

i dont really have any problems with the headsets. the only grumble i have about them, is how much i sound like a 10yr old on it (i'm 23) and that i've been told i sound irish on it too...

Same for me, I just never use it as I dont need to talk online. I got into the headset when im playing halo2 because the sound on that game is awesome quality, every other game sounds like $hit

I phoned mircosoft about half a week ago and told them that my headset didn't work and they spent me out a new one, 2 days later it came in the post.

It looks pretty uncomfortable, and I never trust the one-eared ones apart from their comfort level. I've had bad experiences with them.

Then again, I'm still using my launch 360 headset so I'm not the biggest mic expert, and I can't share your guys' pain.

plantronics make very well bulit heatsets and i would have thought they would have made sure that it can be worn comfortably by the user. my halo plantronics headset is very nice and comfortable
