ok how gay is this, the new 360s come with the quieter dvd drive which would be so nice cause mine is a oud piece of ****. and second, they are going to make the premium 360 with 100 gig hdds starting april. thats what we get for being loyal to microsoft, and trusting their product in the early stages, they on us by givin away the good **** later down the line. April 2nd, Premium 360s include Samsung DVD drive which is quieter, 100 gig HDD and a DirectTV blade in the dashboard where you can download and watch television shows. Im going tot call MS and ask to trade mine back for one of those

Sounds like a bunch of unsubstantiated rumors, but remember-early adopters always get the worst systems. If you buy a computer, and 3 months later-or 3 weeks later-Revision B is released-and that bums you out-then you should have waited for Rev B in the first place. Of course, there will be a Rev C, D, maybe even a G or H, if the platform lives that long. Technology and products do not stand still. That being said, I may be interested in buying your system, Mattzor, for the right price. Then you'll have some money towards the rumored April 360s.
Endy, sorry-I imagine yours is a PAL system.
As far as the specifics-Quieter DVD drive? Maybe-would not surprise me. An evolutionary improvement. 8 of our systems have no noise issues, one is intermittent. I don't know how widespread the problem is.
100 Gig? Yeah, I've heard this rumor. Didn't seem like the source I read was real reliable, but it could happen-or at least a larger capacity than 20G. This could be why there have been so few 20G HDDs in the supply chain-Msoft knew they would become obsolete soon and put more time into making larger HDDs. If true, at least the 20giggers will drop in price and become more available, as we have 3 cores that could use them. Or maybe the new Cores will ship with 20 and the premiums ship with bigger ones.
Direct TV blade? Haven't heard of one, but this one could be a download that EVERY 360 can have. Maybe that's what that small download earlier this month was for-preparation for a new blade or blades. Seems like a Direct TV blade would be a pain for peole without the service, unless blades can be turned on/off.

So in conclusion, sell me your 360!

I'm only really bothered about the HDD, that is a stupidly big increase in size for being loyal to microsoft and trusting there new system.

I'll keep calm until it happens, but if it does i'm gonna annoy MS as much as one person pyschically can.

Well i heard from the get-go that in future they were planning on making bigger HDD's, but yeah, until there is confirmation lets not believe it, but if they ever change the package at no extra cost, there gonna get a ear-full from me thats for sure.

I agree. MS would be so stupid to put out bigger HDD with the premiums this short after launch. That would be suicide by them. You know how many millions of people(guessing) would be calling up MS and complaining? They would have a 360 riot.

And even then, just offer a bigger HDD for sale. The only problem woulf be whatever XBLA games you have d/l'd wouldn't be on the new HDD and that will suck, especially for people like me who owns at least 19 XBLA games.
