If they deliver on what they promised in Game Informer, I'm in. Sure, the first game was cheesy, atrociously racist, and had awful multiplayer (except for the added SSC Challenge which I LOVED...had number one position on Warehouse 2); but I really enjoyed the gameplay and the ridiculous gun upgrades. Any game where you become MORE of a badass as you progress is up my alley.

I definately am, as someone said above(no wait...down) the gu upgrades were great, and a lot of magazines has provided alot ofreasons to get it, I don't think the first one was really racist at all, people are too PC now.

As much as I liked it, it was definitely offensive. It wasn't so much racist as it was B.S. Nationalist propaganda. But I can see right through that crap and just enjoyed the game. I am utterly against war and hating other countries, but I enjoyed the gameplay.

If your going to have a story about PMC's in america you should really expect it, BoTS is even more racist.

I'm sure. Doesn't make it right.

How 'bout we not have another random non-political forum thread delve into a deep political flame war, hmm? How 'bout we get back on subject? (That goes to everyone)
Me? I am digging the news I've seen on this game coming from E3 and Comic Con and their twitter contests @Army_of_Two (http://www.twitter.com/Army_of_Two). They've said they are going to tone down the Bromance a bit as well as the extreme blinging of weapons(I for one liked that aspect, gold weapons are a gaming staple! GoldenEye, CoD4, etc.) but I hope they keep their sense of humor as well as a 'message'.

I thought the first game was really good, i enjoyed playing through it multiple times as well as enjoying the multiplayer. I just hope they get the server problems fixed, that was annoying, but all and all im definitely excited for the 40th day

I bought this and am quite dissapointed to be honest.
I quite enjoyed the first game, but this one is a step backwards. There is virtually no plot, the characters don't interact with each other very much and apart from the zoo level the level design isn't that interesting.
It also just ends suddenly on the 5 hour mark with a short cutscene and a stupid moral choice. It is all seems set up for some extra DLC missions which actually finish the threadbare plot there is.
There are also no audio options, no subtitles and in places the dialogue is very difficult to make out over the music/shooting.
Spoiler
One of the characters also admits to getting arrested for having sex with a panda. Which put me off quite a bit.
The shooting is solid and the AI is okay. I did have fun playing it, but its just far too short and never really gets going. :(
