the game is medium to quite hard.

Finishing the games on the highest difficulty will be tough. the difficulty doesnt really increase with the setting, they just give you less lives.
I thought S ranking the bosses would be tough but i got it in the noob mod having the green power weapon to the max. For most bosses concentrate fire on the middle parts rather than destroying all surrounding turrets.
