I bet everyone will just be running round with melee weapons for the first few matches lol - "What? This game has guns!?"

How about the "on all maps" achievements though. I assume this will only be for the first three maps, because if it's on the fourth map too (the one which requires 43,000,000 community kills), this will take longer than expected to 200/200.

EDIT: Just noticed that the best squad achievement says "on all three maps" whereas the the pacific campaign achievement says "on every map". So yeah..

I'd not considered the fourth map. Although the developers reckon that'll be unlocked within a month, so if that is the case it shouldn't take too long.

Overall they look like quite nice achievements and 200 points should be no problem. The only one which I think is a bit of a mistake is,

After playing lots of Bad Company I know how rampant teamkilling could get. Getting killed by your own team for the artillery became very annoying. I can already see getting the flag back to base and having someone on your own team who'd been camping there to kill you and return the flag themselves.

Eh? I thought this was conquest, not CTF - there's no flag carrying in conquest, it's basically territories.

You're right. I saw flag and I automatically thought CTF. Don't know why I thought that, I know its conquest. :confused:

In that case, should be incredibly easy to capture 5 flags. Only one that'll take time is the 100 matches. If its anything like Bad Company that'll be very enjoyable. :)

In fact it's a bit of a shame there's not one on there for get 1000 kills or something like that.

Capturing 25 flags should be easy. I'm more concerned with getting a kill with a plane.... I can't fly for ****.

Though play 100 matches will be the toughest to get. Considering my one and only match so far seemed to take forever to finish of course, but it was fun nonetheless.

I've only managed to play the tutorial so far. It allows you to have a bit of un-interrupted time using the plane. Try changing the planes control to Southpaw, so that pitch\roll is mapped to the left stick instead of right. And Yaw is mapped to the right instead of left.

I've quickly come to grips with flying the plane, and i'm now flying between trees and hugging the grass at safe levels, but even so i can NOT get a single kill lol. My aiming with the bombs is 50:50, when i want them to go where i want they seem to have a mind of their own and go elsewhere, then when i don't want them to go there, they do! lol.

I've been reduced to hovering around the enemy airfield and trying to destroy their planes before / as soon as they take to the skys.

Total.

Was rather funny actually; before i found this out myself, i was flying a plane around for what i thought was 10 minutes. Asked a friend the same question who had the achieve and he said "total". Started a new round, jumped in a plane and as soon as i accelerated *achievement unlocked* lol.

I'll try that. I've gotten a bit better flying now, though my last flight ended in my accidental crash into an enemy tank. It was pretty funny, somehow the plane didn't explode on impact and I had time to jump out and get enough distance to survive the eventual explosion. Funny part was looking back and seeing a plane nailed into this tank tail end up. I know the tank driver was like "WTF!?".

Whew! I finally managed to get a kill in a plane.. by having a head on collision with another! lol :) *achievement unlocked motorman* Just the playing 30 & 100 matches achieves to get now and i'll be able to sign the 200 / 200 club.

You need to be a part of the best squad on every map at least once.

Best Squad Achievement, I got this one never even being in a squad my first 3 games.

Just be in the Top 5 people and it should pop, or atleast thats what it did for me.

And for anyone that absolutely fails at flying like me, for the Motorman achievement, you can use an Air raid for an Airplane kill.

And does anyone know how many ranks there are in the game, 25 like Bad Company?
