1) Head to microsoft's passsport site and make your way to create hotmail account.

2) While you're filling out the info, it'll ask you where you're from. Be sure to choose the region where the content is available, not where you live. So, if you want US content, choose America.

3) Enter any valid address for the region you've choosen. Just look up an address on Google - a business address is fine.

4) When you're done with that, activate your e-mail account, turn on your xbox 360 and go to switch profiles.

5) Create a new profile and xbox live account, choosing silver account so you won't have to pay.

6) Just enter a phone number and you're done.

Use your regular profile as normal and use your foreign account for the new downloads. Simple as that.

well I did it earlier but there kinda the same downloads but I suppose when it gets going there should be quite a few coming in for Japan.

Put simply - No it isn't

I set up an account with a USA adress etc, and can download US only content.

I wouldn't worry about making another account in the other region.

I've had a European/Japanese one for two months and nothing has happened to them or my real account.

I think they would care if you were somehow ripping a Gold membership off of them, but you know they don't care if their not losing money. They probably even gain money on people buying some stuff available in other countries but not their own.

i was hopin to get some cool free japan pics but you do get some free trailers that you dont get in your region, e.g i got an MLB trailer (i think) off my american account when i live in UK
