iPod Help (I know its very off topic)

Does anyone here have an iPod and the new iTunes 7? I tried the forums on apple.com but no one helps. My problem is that I had to reformat and therefore I backed up all my music and when I opened iTunes 7 It gave me a message saying that you have to replace the one on your iPod with the current one. I selected cancel and never say this message again. That was stupid because it wont let me sync my music. I tried re-installing but that didnt work. Its so annoying. Please help because Ive been trying to fix this for about a week.

Wrong forum, but I don't exactly get your problem. Usually the iPod and iTunes forums are helpful, at least they were to me when I had big iTunes troubles.

Does the iTunes library have all it's music in it?
