My computer got completey reformatted so Now I'm putting all my music back on there, I am using iTunes 7 though everytime I put in a CD it's taking me between 10-30 minutes per song to import, which is crazy because normally it was taking me a few minutes to do each album (before it was reformatted). I've been doing iTunes since around 12.00 it's now 2.55 and i've done just over two albums, and I still have like 30 to do.... please help me make this faster

Check the format it's ripping in. AAC-Lossless is a large file that takes a long time to rip.
Perhaps that's iTunes 7's default format, I'm not sure.

How do you check/change that when you are importing?

How do you check/change that when you are importing?Importing or ripping?
Rip= Copying files off a CD.
Import= moving files from one folder into another.
If you ever decide to manually use AAC-Lossless, I recommend it only for real CD's (not copies or CD's with MP3's on them, a retail CD).

Don't double post please.
Is your computer hardware any different? Running anything in the background (programs) that are different, or some that aren't there?
