Anyhow, here is the trailer. http://youtube.com/watch?v=hCDUZ8Gx1ew
but as someone said in the comments "The trailer is amazingly bad if you see how great the movie is."
I was just wondering if anyone had seen it because nobody I know has seen it and its an amazing film.
It was also directed by quentin tarantino.

I watched this years ago, but I've seen it so many times...One of the best films i've seen actually
If you watched the directors cut theres loads of cool scenes they cut out
"Léon: The rifle is the first weapon you learn how to use, because it lets you keep your distance from the client. The closer you get to being a pro, the closer you can get to the client. The knife, for example, is the last thing you learn."
"1st Stansfield man: He was a pro, he was fast, he ****ing came out of nowhere." - I had that as my MSN name at one point too.

Seen it numerous times and as was mentioned by somebody else, Tarantino had nothing to do with this film.
It was Luc Besson. There have been rumours for years (perpetuated by Natalie Portman) that Besson may revisit the story years later with Mathilda being the focus, all grown up and ready to take over for Leon.

A true masterpiece, inspired by Lolita, Gary Oldman is at the height of his career in my opinion too.

Great movie and I have it in my dvd collection. Worth picking up. One of Natalie Portmans first movies I think.
