Worst speeding ticket?

Okay, I know I'm not the only one in here that drives, and I'm probably not the only one in here that's gotten a speeding ticket or two or five. I'm curious what the worst speeding ticket everyone has gotten is.

Mine was not quite two months ago, 123mph in a 65mph zone, plus reckless driving, in an '06 BMW Z4. Had to go to court, and the total fine with court costs was $444 ($200 for each count, $44 court costs), and it added 8 points to my record (5 for reckless, 3 for speeding).

Sadly, or maybe fortunately, the car wasn't mine. Had it been mine, it would have been towed and impounded. Story on the ticket:

I was in Lincoln, NE for BMW's Ultimate Drive for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I was out in the Z4 for the first time that day, on the interstate on the north side of town. The car was a blast, so I decided to open it up, as traffic was fairly light, and I had a clear left lane as far as I could see. Flew under an interstate overpass without knowing there was a state trooper sitting on the onramp clocking people. I was still accelerating when he clocked me, topping out at 140 before sanity finally kicked in (about 60mph too late).

Didn't realize the trooper was on the onramp until I got pulled over, by a trooper coming from the other direction. By the time I saw him I'd slowed to about 80, and when I saw him start to make a U-turn through the median, I dropped back to the speed limit and moved to the right lane. Needless to say, I was a little surprised when he said I was clocked at 123, and I got a nice police escort back to the dealership. That was my last BMW drive of the day, but between the Lincoln event and the Omaha event the day before, I helped BMW donate more than $200 to the Komen Foundation.

I dont drive but my Dad got a bad speeding ticket... he got fined £450 for doing 150 on the motorway, which has a speed limit of 70 mph

I was doing 69mph in a rural 35mph. Just so happens I passed some trees and on the other side was the county sheriff. Good thing I had slowed down because I had my speedometer just a little above 100mph. I still had to go to court and the final ticket boiled down to "Equipment malfunction" and my CNI got dropped but I still owed $500. I drive a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT.

anyway mi worst ticket? okay, i was on mi trike clocking in around... 6ish and of course since im a badass, i ride with no helmet, then all of the sudden a helicopter comes outta nowhere and these police swat guys with M4's with 9mm conversion kits and green anti-vision lasers run out and throw me off the bike, i fight back. Its dangerous, then dog the bounty hunter comes outta nowhere and steals mi trike while im beating up the cops and i guess i deserved it but i went to court after being tranquilized and dogpiled on and i paid about 4 pokemon cards to get it back

i do... first of all, last year i picked up my 2000 mustang convertible, and got pulled over 3 days in a row for having the top down and the temp. tags. were in the front windshield. after that, i topped my car out on the interstate, which was only 104, but when i hit 104, thats when i passed the state patrol, so of course he have me a ticket for doing 32 over the speed limit, not a pretty sight hehe.

I was going 75 in a 45...the cop asked how fast I was going so I lied, like any good man would, and said, "i dont know, 50?" and he replied, "nope, it was 65 or so". Lucky for me, he didnt catch me farther down the road going faster. He was gonna give me a 200 dollar ticket. But my girlfriend was with me and for some reason he felt nice and just gave me an 80 dollar ticket...and thats the most ive payed for a speeding ticket, i guess i got off pretty lucky. In fact on the ticket he wrote down that I was going just 54 mph...so I think my gf batted her eyes at him or showed some cleavage or something.

Worst Police Incident:

This dude and I were illegally street racing down a strip of busy highway. I got my blue and silver BMW up to about 176 mph when, all of a sudden, this police car-SUV comes out of nowhere and hits me head-on! I immediately hit the wall to find myself barricated by seven corvette cop cars. I managed to break free. I'm going really fast with all the police cars behind me. I see a gas station, so I drive right through the gas pumps, which causes an explosion that sets back all those police cars. After that, I completely brake free!

...And then I took NFS: Most Wanted out of my 360. :lol:

Just because I choose to speed doesn't mean I drive like an ass. If I were weaving in and out of traffic while doing 120+ sure, but I wasn't. I stayed in my lane until I saw the cop coming from the other direction.

Stripclubdj, I must say impressive. What year Z06? I'd seen and heard of worse tickets like that, but I didn't know if anyone here had gotten one like that, hence the post. I could have gotten a couple days in jail for the reckless driving charge, but thankfully I didn't.

I don't have NFS:MW, but I got my worst in-game ticket today. It was in TDU for hitting too many other cars. The fine was like $650,000, and since I didn't have enough money (I'd just bought the Aston Martin DB4) I spent like 30 seconds in jail. I was seeing how many other cars I could hit before drawing the eye of the cops, but reading the manual, I now see why I never saw them. The car and arrow symbols on the police bar (and the police cars themselves) don't show up in online mode unless "Allow Online Interactions" is turned off.

I never got a speeding ticket, but the State Police pulled me over for being "suspicious." I was driving my 1972 Dodge Sportsman when the cop pulled me over. He said it looked like the van that just robbed some folks. I asked him what that van looked like, and he said it was blue. I then told him, "You CAN see that my van is black, right?" He then sort of lowered his head and slumped back to his cruiser.

I have gotten a ticket though. It was for "unsafe lane change." Some stupid girl drove into the back of my truck, and he gave ME the ticket. I suppose if I hadn't looked so much like a hobo, it might not have been the case. The ticket cost me $125.

6 years ago my dad got a series of fines and the loss of his license for 5 years. Two speed cameras caught him at 195km/h in a 100km zone. 5 parking tickets in bus zones and loading zones. It all cost $2000+, and then he was pulled over on by a patrol car going 206km/h on a highway.

I don't own a z06 my buddy does that works at a Chevy dealer we went to hot august night. I live like 2 hours from reno and he wanted to ride his motorcycle up there so I got to drive his car. If I had the money to buy z06 I wouldn't I don't like corvettes to small

i have a few. my first one was 110 in a 40 but the cop clocked when like 2 inches before the 40 limit sign so its really 110 in a 55 but still its reckless driving but it would have saved me about 80 bucks. i was racing 2 other guys and one of them got a way and the other told the cop the whole story so when i tried to lie the cop was like ya he told us everything. then about a week later i was racing this other guy got caught going 150 in a 70 but i new the cop so u dropped it down to 85 in a 70 but gave the dude i was running one for 135 in a 70. this is all in a 2000 mits eclipse turboed, exhaust, everything, dont have it anymore caz halo 2 took it from me :(, i totaled it when i was tring to get to ebx at midnight on nov 8 to get halo 2. game wasnt even worth it. then the last one i got was for ging 155 in a 55 in a lotus elise, i was test driving it and asked the car salesman if i could open it up and he said sure, then just as a pasted a on ramp right before i was about to slow down one of those wanabe dea agents that are always in memphis comes out of no where, took me about 5 mins before i pulled over caz the car didnt even look like a cop car. it was a camero with blacked out windows and everything. so i got excorted back to the dealer the car salesman got fired and i had to pay like i think it was 600 caz it wasnt my car and a bunch of other crap. and then ive goten caught illegel street racing at night god only knows how many times. so i have a bad drivning record and cool thing is i just moved to nj and they dont share their records with anyone, so know my nj license is clean, and my insurance is 200 bucks cheaper.

i havnt had a speeding ticket but i did get pulled over last weekend and fined £80 for beeping my horn at some hot girls as i drove past them. i even told the cops that i knew the girls and one was my sister (even tho i didnt )but he didnt belive me anyway. anyway still got a week before i have to pay the fine, i might just refuse and get 2 games instead, stupid cops trying to take my hard earned gaming money.

my worst speeding ticket was 155 in my dads porsche 911 turbo i got excessive speeding, reckless driving and a night in a cell. all togeather everything came out to around 2,000$ and the next one behing that was 115 in my g35 that was about 700$ and a suspension of my licesnse

You guys have some nice cars... A porsche cayman s(!!!!!), a porsche 911 turbo, and all the rest.
My dad drives truck normally but also has a 1991(or 92 or 93, not too sure) Mazda RX-7. It is a fast car, twin turbo.
It also still has under 20,000 miles on it. I have only been driving for 4 and a half months and have not gotten a ticket yet.

My dad however ran from cops when he was a teenager. A couple of times. And yet he avoided jail.
Some were on a dirt bike and then he would go into the woods where the cops couldn't follow. Another time was when he was running from a cop who was not in uniform, but they both knew each other so that didn't go over too well.

The coolest time I ever got pulled over, it was on my way back to traffic school (because I got a ticket 2 months earlier).

I only had 1, and that was 85mph in a 65mph zone, but the cop put it down to 14mph over so I wouldn't get points on my license. Lucky me.

$206. I got caught doing 70mph in a 55mph construction zone. The cop could have doubled the fine, but since it was 9:30 at night and there were no construction workers anywhere around, he let me off with the normal fine. Lucky for me!
