Faceplates...

Well i've had a little think about this. I quite like the idea of the faceplates personalizing your console, it does look quite cool as well, even if it doesn't clash very well. What i don't understand is why microsoft makes it so difficult to get a faceplate. There's only like 4 faceplates which you can purchase, and to be honest, none of them are worth th £15 asking price. If they released a faceplate for like each game, or a movie, which you could BUY, then i think it would be worth it. Does anyone know if microsoft will be releasing more faceplates to buy in the future, rather then releasing them through competitions?

Mate just check on ebay, u can buy other makes version for less than 5 quid, then get some spray cans and design your own its alot better, check out xbox-scene.com lot sof people over there have done their own faceplate.

I've got the sun one on mine. It was the only one tht fitted in with the rest of the xbox

The four faceplates that were released at the start suck balls, I like the idea of faceplates it just they look weird on the 360 because say you have a black faceplate it doesn't match the rest of the white console.

Well Chappers, you're in luck. Microsoft is releasing three game-related faceplates. There will be Halo, Viva Pinata, and Forza Motorsport 2 faceplates this fall. Also, while not made by Microsoft, there is a Saints' Row faceplate out now and a Gears of War faceplate should be in stores soon.
