A Clockwork Orange.
It's not a horror movie and it doesn't have any 'Boo!' scenes, but it's pretty creepy none-the-less.

Trust me, you don't want to watch Gigli, it's been slammed as one of the worst films ever... To be honest, i never get scared by films, some might make me jump from my seat a little bit, but thats very rare. I think Saw is a pretty good horror film.

I don't really like horror/scary movies, zombies don't do nothing for me to be honest.
The sort of films that could scare/freak me out are films that could actually happen, because they are way scarier than all the zombie movies etc. I can't think of a example at the moment though..

IT the clown
;-;
I got that movie- but you have to look past the freaky kid killing clown and you realise its actually about friendship and about working as a team to overcome your trials. It is fairly emotional at times, you can tell it is Stephen King as it is like Stand By Me.
Anyway I have seen quite a lot of horror films- Candyman, Scream, Saw, Hostel, Halloween, Freddy Vs Jason, IT, Goosebumps XD and all them crappy Modern ones.
I think the scariest for me is The Shining. I dont know what it was but that movie was the only movie that ever scared me.
It has so many messed up visuals- such as the twins, the bear, the naked old woman and generally Jack Nicholson being a complete nutter (he is scarier when he is quiet though)
Oh and when the boy kepy saying RED RUM and they realised it was Murder backwards, that was quite freaky.

To be honest, i don't think there's a scary film that i can't sit through alone.
I'll try and think of something though, but i can say one thing that creeps me out to this day..
Facehuggers (those spider like aliens from the Alien franchise).. just everything about them creeps me out.
three films that i couldn't pull my self through to watch back in the younger days now though..
Evil Dead 1 - The deadites really crepped me out..
Polterguiest - Especially the one with the old omish guy who you can only see in reflections
In The Mouth of Madness - This was the most scariest film that i have EVER watched, that old 'boy' on the bike in the middle of the night was creepy as hell..
If i came back to mouth of madness actually, i think i would still kindda scare myself a little from it..
be sure to watch the video montage of 'John Carpenters: Mouth of Madness' here.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=1VyvW95dWgE
you'd have to watch the whole film for yourself alone in the dark though for it to have some effect on you..

For the UK people on this site, there is a top 50 scary films countdown on five.
One of mine would be Nightmare on elm street, I watched this when I was like eight. I was pretty scared. It wouldn't bother me now I don't think..

its not necessarily a very "scary" movie, more along the lines of creepy and disturbing. but hostel really freaked me out. especially the part where the guy had his achillies (i think) cut and he tried to stand up and literally fell right off his feet. ill never forget that, lol.

When I was a kid, JAWS scared the crap out of me. I also thought Halloween was pretty scary. To this day, it is still my favorite horror movie. Recently, though, I would say the Blair Witch Project. I actually went to the movie theatre not knowing anything about that movie. While watching the movie, I tried thinking of it as actually being real, and starting thinking of it as that way. I find it far scarier when you cannot actually SEE the "monster" that is chasing you. I thought that it was a great idea, and they did a great job with it. The other recent movie that was pretty scary was House on Haunted Hill.

Not sure whether to file it under scary or sick but the one that really bothered me was Rob Zombie's House of a 1000 corpse or something. Too many visuals and the visuals were too realistic. I remember I took a bath after watching it and felt like sick to my stomach. I have a slight idea now what people who have returned from war or who saw a death for the first time must go through.
