sorry folks, i couldnt help myself, i have to post my scheme. i went into blockbuster the other day, looking to trade saints row for some credit, i would get $30 credit for it. i saw the gears of war display and realized i hadnt reserved it yet (stupid, i know). by the display it said, "TRADE IN 4 GAMES (OR 2 XBOX 360) GAMES AND GET IT FREE!!! this is where my scheme comes in... A used dynasty warriors is on sale for 20 bucks. so what i do is take my saints row and a copy of used dynasty warriors to the cash. as soon as i purchase dynasty warriors i say, i would like to trade this in. the guy looked at me like i had lobsters crawling out of my ears. so i combined saints row and dynasty warriors to make my 2 360 games. so i will get gears of war, first thing november 8, free of charge. this saved me over 30 bucks. because, with tax, gears comes in at over 80 bucks. if i traded saints row and dynasty in i would on have 45 in credit (saints row-30, DW5-15). so i saved over 30 dollars. sure it may not sound like much, but 30 saved is 30 earned. TAKE THAT BLOCKBUSTER! :D

Over $80? You're in Burlington (BTW, I love Vermont - Skiing is awesome), so it's ont in CAD. You must be getting the collector's edition.

Nice job. That is what happens a lot with used games in videogame stores as well.

The Blockbuster here is my town closed. It is probably because they had terrible prices. Plus, they refused to carry Xbox 360 titles. So a new video store opened up and carries 360 titles and I have been renting them for $2.80 for 5 nights. Take THAT Blockbuster!

I work at Blockbuster and I didn't realize that we traded games. Still, that's a pretty sweet deal

Same here. Ours is still running, but it is slowly dying. I liked it a lot, but they never carried 360 games! So I tried this local place, and I HATE the owner there, it is like he puts his hatred to the world in all the games/movies... Then our Movie Gallery got them, so I screwed that place and went to Movie Gallery!

The first video store we had here in town got bought out by Movie Gallery. For some reason, Movie Gallery decided to open a second store just down the street. Needless to say, a small town does not need 2 movie gallerys. That 2nd store only lasted a few months. On top of that, Blockbuster opened in town, and they closed too. Apparently, some people aren't very bright.

ok since this doesn't work in the U.S....i was pondering this plan: i'll buy two cheap games on ebay...then mail them to you (in canada). you can then trade them in and send me the brand new GOW and i'll paypal you the shipping costs. anybody up for it?
i really want this game...so please somebody try it...you've really got nothing to lose.

The name of the store is called Family Video. I am not sure but I think it may just be a small chain of stores in western Michigan. At any rate, they rock!
