What's either the most confusing movie you've ever seen, or the movie that has so many explanations that you'll never know the truth?
Akira (Manga) for confusing, hands down! I never really managed to understand Akira, but even so.. i thought it was a great manga and the artwork was brilliant for something of that time. I'm still confused about certain points in the film, but with each passing day and from each opinion i get from the IMDB boards on this film, it becomes more clearer to me.
R-Point for 10,000 explanations.. i've only watched this movie four times (on Film 4 - UK). You'll find so many explanations for this film, and people who've seen it who came back confused. I got a grasp on what was going on the 3rd time i watched this movie, and the 4th time i felt as if i was getting closer to knowing the truth. However, there are some unexplained events in this film.. so i think the director / producers are also partly to blame.
