Question about Striker achievement (100 goals)...

Does anyone know if this has to be 100 goals made your character alone, or just a cumulative score from your team?

I've played about four 30 minute games of hockey, and I know my cumulative score has gone over a hundred, so I am wondering if the goals for the achievement only count if they are made by my character. Problem is, half the time, the puck touches the opponent for a split second before scoring resulting in an "own goal" point.

I assume that they have to be done by your character alone. I also doubt that it counts if they computer knocks their own goal in.

I would probably have the patience for this if my teammate's AI wasn't so bad. I can't even count the amount of times I had a perfect shot and boosted, only to get bumped in the side by my own teammate which caused my shot to hit a bad angle and miss the net.

I had an idea for a cheap way to do this. Is there anyway you can just set up a two player game with one car on your team and one on their's? If so, you could let the second player stay still while you score 100 goals one after another with ease. I'm sure this would work with 4 players, but unfortunately I don't have that many controllers. Or does their have to be two cars on each team all the time?

best way to do this and it works, get 3 buddys and make a online game and make sure who ever wants it is the one who made the game, so if u want it make a game play with 3 friends and keep scoreing and it will unlock takes like 2-3 games online to get it. this is how i did it since doing by yourself would take a 100 years thanks to retared AI.

Just play offline with bots its much easier 30 min matches, YOU have to score 100 goals A.I goals dont count either do rebounds off A.I.... :

Just some more verification on this achievement.
The only goals that count towards this achievement are single player goals (not local multiplayer, DOESN'T work), and online when YOU are the host.

I scored over 100 goals in local multiplayer and didn't get it. I scored dozens of goals online while I was NOT the host. I got 92 goals while I WAS host and got the achievement. So the other 8 had to come from single player.

As far as DEMONIACAL's advice to play offline with bots, I assume that would work, but I don't see how it could possibly be easier than having NO ONE defending the goal. :P
