and as far sa nintendo.we are starting to get goods fun games like nintendo.like pocketbike racer is alot like a xbox version of mario cart.and small arms kinda like a supersmash bros.and microsoft owns rare so we got good games like kameo,conker,banjo k.,and pdz.and 1 of gamecubes most best games animal crossing is alot like viva pinata.

Console Wars might be ridiculous, but it is really only Fanboys that feed the flames... Literally they flame up boards to no end. A Gamer doesn't care what the platform. A Gamer will play anything... I find myself beating the little games that come in my children's Happy Meals. Games are games...

Right now I primarily play 360. When more good games come out for Wii, I will get them. When PS3 has a truly unique title come out, I will have it. Console Wars are stupid, Console Systems Rock!

Wii controller doesn't appeal to the general gaming audience, plus the controller breaks easily. The Wii will retain a small dedicated crowd, but it will not 'finish' ahead of the 360 or PS3.

I think they are going to have to do a redo on the PS3, they are loosing a ton of money(an estimated $250 pre console) so something needs to be done there. The Wii, I think, is really bad, its graphics are on par with some PS1 games and the controller is okay. Also, there aren't any big hits out except Zelda, and there aren't many that people are looking forward to. The 360 has a strong lineup of games, Stronger than any other system. The PS3 will sell a ton once there is enough of them, but soley because of the success of the PS2. The Wii will sell because its cheap but will stop selling in the next couple of years because of no games.

Actually the Wii will have the most because they are the easiest to make(its a gamecube with a motion controller) but there will be few hits

I'd say that the PS3 narrowly beats out the 360 this time around because of what Blue said: the PS2. However, Microsoft owns the next generation...

And maybe Nintendo will shape up and get their (graphical) act together.

The wii will sell because it appeals to parents for the young ones, it is really cheap and it will very soon have some great games for it.

The PS3 will come in a Second place because of it's blu-ray capabilities, slightly super graphics(slightly from what is out right now) and it's fanboy base including the fact that japanese only seem to want japanese products.

The 360 will come in a VERY, VERY close third, it will, I think have better games over all this time around(exclusives) and it will still maintain a better online system and cooler accesories(though overpriced) and it will soon come close to competing with the Wii's price point.

Honestly, I like the xbox360 best, followed by Wii, and then PS3, not that I have played much of it yet though, but I don't care what system is last or first, if the 360 is last, who cares? Maybe they will try even harder next generation and make it better then the competition. I have the xbox360, I will get the Wii for christmas(hopefully) if not i'll buy it right after, and by this summer I will have the PS3 if Socom and MGS4 are out, and hopefully Ratchet and Clanck.

I true gamer plays it all, the only thing I won't have for awhile is a super computer, because I want one, but I want a really good one, even if I have to spend 3grand on it, I want to be able to play all the good games on it with full specs running.

Um... to get a "really good" computer, you're looking at $3,000-$5,000 in parts alone.

Forget getting it from Dell, a DIY top of the line PC would cost $3,000 easily.

Anyways, it's sad how you're probably right. 'cept I think the PS3 will outsell all thanks to its' overly retarted fanboy crowd. The Wii is up there due to the price and appeal to short-attention-spanned little kids. The 360 is for the rest of us.

AGREED i have it and three days later boring!!! i think we have to wait ds feels like gimmiky in the early days look at it now its awesome best handheld.PS3 i think will show its power later on like the 360 did so right now its just starting if you remember in e3 06 peter moore in g4tv said we will know who wins in holiday 07 because every console has at least one year in the market i agree with him :D :D

That group of gamers you just mentioned, the ones that have their parents buy their consoles, make up a very small percentage of gamers. Not to mention that a lot of those gamers that have their parents buy them a console are spoiled and will get that 360 or will that PS3 they wanted.

And honestly, the Wii games are bad and they're going to get any better.

I'm not happy about this though. I was planning on getting a Wii before the end of the year, but after trying it out at the stores and keeping an eye on the upcoming games, I might never get one. =(

Also I wouldn't call those people I mentioned spoiled because it said "young ones" which would mean they don't work so their parents want to get them something but don't want to pay alot for it. Also they still have their exclusives like Zelda(which is fun) and Mario Galaxy coming out soon, which I hope isn't a disapointment. just look at the DS, at first not too many people liked it but more and more people are starting to realize how much more fun it is then other handhelds because it is so different, and despite the fact that the PSP gets better graphics, the DS still sells more, so that shows that alot of people don't make a deciding factor just based on graphics, so thats not as big as a deal as people make it out to be.

Wii will wait and see who win, wii will know by next christmas. Besides, the wii will be online soon, which is a big reason the cube didn't do so well, that won't be a problem this time.

Guys dont overlook the wii its actually a really good system i think it will come up front. Its launch sucks now but didnt the 360s launch suck even more? They had no good games and they have good games now because of their year head start. At least we have zelda and in jan. Wario Ware (Best party game hands down for non gamers after that SSBB :)) So dont be dissing the wii just coz the graphics are pretty bad and the launch isnt that great. Play it first trust me youll get hooked

Again I say that the group of gamers who are 'too young' to buy their own console make up a very small portion of gamers, so simply because the Wii is cheaper doesn't mean it will automatically win. Prices really don't mean much, especially when there are price-drops.

As for Zelda and Mario? Ok, that's two series. I know they have a hardcore fan base but a lot of gamers tend to buy a console simply because it will have a large number of series on it, which is why the PS2 did so well. It had so many damn games, and a lot of them were pretty good. Everyone knows Nintendo has the worst 3rd party support, which is why the Gamecube did so poor. The Wii doesn't look to fix that problem.

The DS and PSP brawl isn't even a valid comparison. Completely different ends of the market. I have nothing to say about it.

The Wii goes Online, so what? What will you play on it? Super Smash Bros. and ... ? Online play is dominated by FPS and sport games and you know how well the Wii is known for those genres.

Sports games (madden) and FPS (COD3) are more fun on the wii and by next year online. The gamecube did terrible but nintendo is making up for it. They will be number one! 360 got a head start thats why they have better games out now. 360 launch was the worst one though ps3 and wii did better

Call of Duty 3 might be better on the Wii than it is on the 360, but that's one game. Give me a list of FPS coming out for the Wii that can compete with the 360 or PS3s Online FPS games. It's not possible. The Wii cannot win by Online means unless something changes.

The reason the DS and PSP comparison doesn't work is because, first of all, those are not consoles. There are gamers such as myself that have no urge to purchase a hand held gaming device. On the other hand, I do like consoles. Hand held gaming devices, don't get offended by this if you're fairly old, tend to cater to younger audiences. Nintendo caters to the younger audience. Also, there's no MSoft in there to mix it up. You know, the 360 is a pretty big part of this generation's console war, so the DS and PSP comparison is out of the window.

And I'm done. Must watch Monday Night Football.

thought that is not many, I do think that is enough, who is going to own that many games, unless they only shooters? And if they only play shooters, that is plenty, and i'm sure there is more to be announced. Have you even played the wii yet? If you haven't you shouldn't be bashing it, give it a chance.

Sorry, look at what time it was though, I was tired and I didn't want to go back and check. I should be getting my wii buy the Christmas and we should battle it out then, and I would have added more to that list but it was really late and I didn't want to look for all of those games coming out. Besides the wii will probably get more exclusive games then any other system this time around, and i'm sure alot of those are going to be good.

Resistance is not going to be the only good game on the PS3. What about MGS4, Socom4, Ratchet and Clanck, and a bunch of others i'm sure.

And playing something in a store isn't the same as actually playing it at your house, with the games you want, it just isn't the same. But who cares, you have your opinion, and I have mine, we will find out in a year or so who is right.
