If you could head a development team, what kidna of games would you like to make, and what would your studio be called? I would have my studio named Death From Above, and I would creat a FPS/FPSMMO. I've seriosuly beenthinking about htis game since i was 8. You create a character(duh!), and then you would get like ranked as private. Your dropped right in the middle of this conflict as a private straight outta boot camp. You choose which missions to do, and depending on your desicions, you cna either defect to the other side, or go up in the ranks of the side u start as. As you rise in rank, you have more options,a dn stuff under your command. When your not in combat, you can upgrade your character and mayb do sum spyign as a double agent. ITs kinda lik Deus Ex (cause I want lik lots of RPGish elements) adn Halo (epic, grand scale). And for multiplayer, Its a persistnat world, where you select a side, create a character, a la Ranbow Six Vegas. And then there are objectives set up byt the Admins, like capture such-and0such resource depo. And if you lose ground on the battlefeild, it wil be reflected by your armies power. So lik if you lose an ammo factory, when u go into battle, ull hav less ammo. I just hink that combining all the awesem games into one would be awesome (I have alot more in mind lik in character deign whic i cant show here). So lets see what you other peoples have to say about ur gaing fantasies!

Lol, sounds like what PlanetScape tried, and sort of what Huxley will try. I love the idea, just never has a great MMOFPS been made. Do note I never played them, just from what others say.

I would want a developer that makes great games!! No idea for a name (AC91 Studios?), but I would want to get into every gaming market. I would want original games, innovation. Think stuff like Outpost Kaloki, Viva Pinata, Marble Blast, Geo Wars, etc. I would definently want to make Arcade games for the Wii and 360.

I would make a baseball game (with fictional players of course, damn 2K and their liscensing rights...) that is a million times better than 2K6...and with how that one played out, it shouldn't be overly hard...

yeah, I realized i neglectted to mention Huxley..o well. I'm also interested in making sumthing that is very japanese esque. Like maytbe a game where you play as a handy man, and itll be on the Wii, (or w/e its sucesor will be...) so u can use the motion sensitive stuff to liek wash windows, clean the gutters, nail stuff...you no, just random odd job based mini games. OR agame thats jsut a basic puzzler. Like the guy said, a XBLA game. Like maybe your given a picture, and then you have to take like tetris blocks, and figure out how to put them in the right place. Thats just kinda a thing I thought of off the top of my head, and it has alot of problems wiht it (whe u think about it), but sumtihng different. SUmhting to shake up the industry. WHic is rele hard when you try to think up sumhting totally different.

Hey now, Planetside was a great game.

I never got to play it as I said. I was basing it on what I have heard. Truthfully it seemed really cool to me, but I just got off of Star Wars Galaxies, and didn't want to go back into an MMO.

I've played Guild Wars...my only MMO. I detest subscription fees (for individual games). Huxley will be the first exception...EVER.

i'd like to see a console that comes with one game, a virtual world ( or real parts of the earth) with many options at your fingertips.. imagine test drive unlimited for example an open world to explore only if you are driving around you could stop at the tennis courts and play a proper game of tennis, the golf course, the shooting range, swimming, mountain climbing, iraq for war. only these wouldnt be crap mini games they would all be full length games, i guess the cost would be staggering but if you could litterally do it all in one console it could be cool. oh yeah can't forget you'd have to have arcades in there so if you want to escape reality you can drop a few quarters in and zone out:)

Yeah, I did play SWG, before the updates as well. I loved the game. Yeah, it was a huge grindfest, but it was a very social game. People there were so real. I had a musical character once that got paid to perform in a gig to open up this new cantina in this town. They had comedians, music, drinks, stuff for their clan, and then there was a big tournament outside after the party. Really fun stuff.

I would make the ultimate playground game. It would be like an olympic game of sorts...the name is still in the works but we are looking at "PLAYGROUND BATTLES". In this game, you create your own elementary school playground, logo, colors, and a few characters. Then, you enter the Playground Battles. You would compete against other schools in games like dodgeball, 4 square, tag, tetherball, etc. You goal is to become a playground legend by beating out the biggest and baddest schools in the state. May sound corny, but when I convince Microsoft to make a motion controller...I know all you boys will control Sally in her pink skirt as she makes her way to playground greatness!

If I had the resources I would be diving into holographic and virtual reality games and other forms of 3-D entertainment. Now that would be next-gen gaming when you are literally dropped into an environment. Technology is advancing so fast we might actually see something like this in our lifetime. We are only limited by our imagination, anything is possible.

i would make a highly customisable game, where you take a pic of yourself and put it as your character (and it would actually work) And you could take youself into and online verion of the real world, like 1 major city in every country as detailed as it could possibly be, i would love to just look round an american mall dno why . . . lol

And you would basically have an alternate but realistic life :)

I have more ideas!! How about a game that centers around a Risk style board, and you plot your moves, gather resources, etc. But once you chose to engage your enemy, you enter a Battlefeild kidna FPS battle. You can also chose to go to a classic RTS style map, for greater control. And like Spore, your civilization grows. Maybe somthing like....Invading other planets? Like at certain points in the game, becaus eof the massive war, there are no more of a certain nessacary resource, so you have to go conquer a plaent that does have that resource.

Stealing your idea, an MMORTS/FPS.

Risk except HUGE game that lasts up to a month. So you engage your enemy and stuff but it's against other people so it has pwnage replay value and the games are crazy huge scale/long lasting.

A gaming buddy of mine and I have talked about designing a cheesy game called Urban Big Game Hunter. It would be based on the character John Goodman portrayed in Arachnaphobia. The main dude would be an crazy exterminator that went around town taking out evil pests and varments that had infested the town and created chaos for the residents. The exterminator would start out with basic tools, clothes, and weapons, and upgrade these items as the game progressed. The game would include a main quest line, short side quests, boss battles, and leveling up. Overall I would like to design rpg's and rts's. The name of my gaming studio would be Fantasy Adventure Inc.

There were rumors of a hide and seek game for the Wii. Something like that I would be all over.
