I literally killed pretty much every enemy on foot I saw, only killing the last boss of Zone 1 with my car (ran out of nades and nukes). Anyway, does it HAVE to be a combined exact score of 60% enemies killed on foot, and 40% vehicle?

So could I choose Area 17 and once I finish that, get the Survivor achievement? I have gotten achievements by choosing the last area of a zone, but I wonder if it works for Survivor. But thanks I'll try that.

I just tried Lolli, and it didn't unlock it for me, i just did Area 17.... so either that doesn't work, or I just didn't do 60% on foot

I did the entire first zone on foot and didn't get the achievement. The only time I was in my car was when I died or accidentally ran into it. Other than that I killed EVERYTHING outside the car. I got about a third of the wall with the car and the rest on foot. I just don't understand why I didn't get it.

same with me, I did the first level practically on foot the entire time, and no achievement!

all i did is run through the game, on the last zone where you escape you have to spend a large amount of the level on foot and got the achievement

you can't just complete area 17. You have to complete a zone, not just one area. There are 3 / 4 areas per zone.

I just got my achievement by doing the entire first zone on foot...including the spider, the walking wall, and the lair... the achievement popped up after I completed the level.

it should work on any zone, i got it on zone 2

i tried zone 1, but it was too tough

what i did was on foot use the left trigger attack when going against the mech yellow boss who follows you through the zone

is that zone 2?

I tried this, but I still didn't get the achievement.

I'm wondering if you have to be on foot for 60% of the enemies you destroy... or you have to destroy 60% of the total enemies in the zone on foot?

I was having problems with this one as well but just managed to get it. What I did was deleted the game from my hard drive, redownloaded it and started a new game on area 1 on easy. I went through the first zone on foot, only defeating the spider and wall with my vehicle and the achievement unlocked after the zone was over. Before I redownloaded the game, I had tried the same thing with no luck. Hopefully this helps anyone out there who still needs this achievement

This achievment does seemed bugged but I think one big aspect everyone is over looking is the underground lair. Do u have to do it?

*Edited* Ok heres what I did if it helps. I played the whole zone on foot and did the layer as well even though a died before I could complete it. Also I killed alot, I mean alot of those little spiders that come at u when your fighting the big spider. (Not to mention youll rack up like 2 extra lives). I weakened the spider down to no life using the car and then finished off on foot. And did the same thing to the wall boss. And got the achievement. Hope this helps good luck...

Does it have to be 60% of the entire level's enemies, or just 60% of the kills you make must be on foot?

For example, if I killed 1 person on foot (100% of my kills on foot), and just let a friend beat through the level for me while I simply avoid fire, would I get the achievement?

Thanks,

Its 60% Of the enemies in the whole zone. For sure its got to be.

Thanks for your reply; I went ahead and played the level on foot, more or less killing everything I could - I sometimes opted to leave the tanks alive, as they take massive amounts of fire.

All in all, I used my vehicle to defeat both bosses (in Zone 1), and also the part where I had to clear the area before the bridge opened (tanks and kamikazi soldiers come from the right). Note: I killed A LOT of spiders w/ my vehicle against the first boss though...

And I didn't get the achievement... Any suggestions? Or simply another playthrough and hope for the best?

Thanks again,
