Peace Maker?

I've completed virtually all the achievements with the exclusion of this one and I can't seem to get it....I rode thru the first zone killing as little as I could (and did a fairy good job) and it didn't award me the achievement...Does anyone have any ideas???

I played area (11 I think) on co-op over xbox live. I just played regular, killing baddies as they came....didnt do anything special. :D

I'm stuck on this one too. I've tried a few different areas/zones, but I haven't managed to get it. I don't think I tried area 11 though. If anyone else has gotten this and knows how, any info would be appreciated.

here is how i got it:

I started single player, area 4, on easy.
avoid killing! it took only took me two tries. get the wall with little to no killing. i lost one life, then i killed the wall ( i used all the grenades and all the nukes then flamethrow whatevers left). poof achievement.

i think doing it this way you have to make sure you kill less than 50% of the guys on area 4. easy.
i hope this works out for you guys.

now i'll i need is the lair slayer...
any tips?

Hey Madikin what level did you get the Survivor (60% on foot) achievement? I tried just doing level 4 like for the peacemaker and killing everyone on foot, which i did, and didnt get the achievement. Any tips?

If you have completed the game you should be able to get the 60% on foot achievement on the very last level when you are escaping the tunnel. Most of that is on foot but remember you still have to move quickly otherwise your time will run out

Agreed on Mandikin's strategy. Here are additional points from my experience that may help:

-I killed 42 enemies total (so shoot for around that many).
--Also note my first attempt yielded 71 kills and that was too much.

-Running over land mines to set them off does NOT count toward kills if the explosion kills enemies.

-Setting off land mines will kill the dynamite guys :)

I got this totally randomly when I was doing Speed Freak.

I still have to do Survivor, Sharpshooter, and Lair Slayer...

I got speed freak on accident, while I was working on not wasting more than 30% of my bullets (started at level 1 on easy). I think it was because I kept to the front of the screen due to the flamethrower's limited range. This keeps the screen scrolling at a good clip. I also passed on the lair (didn't want to use bullets) and finished off the wall quickly with the flamethrower.
