OMG!!!! This is impossible. I know some of you have gotten it beat but who is going to admit there was no luck involved? I have had this game for a few weeks now, beat the world cup, and beat every global challenge but Aussie Rules is just absoluty ridiculous!! SHouldn't something like this be noticed and changed during testing? Atleast make it a 4-0 start, even a 5-0 start would still make it the hardest challenge in the game....by far! I noticed alot of people think the goalie is a wall, but my problem hasn't come with the goalie. I've been successful with my shots on goal, but the problem is, my shots on goal. I can't get enough. I average like 4 shots on target because the players on the Sol. Island team so easily take it away from me. But it is so hard to take it away form them... wtf? I can't get the shots on goal necessary to win. Sad thing is, my best score ever was 6-0. It actually came on maybe my 4th or 5th attempt at the challebge, before I knew it was the hard one. I had 6 goals at 72 minutes. And threw a goose egg the rest of the game. Since then I have probably tried over a hundred times and gotten a best of 5-0 a few times. How bad does it suck to be so close to 500 achievement points but not be able to get it. I am stuck. I need to hire someone or something.

the only other thing u have to do for your side is put wingers on and makes them
harry kewell-LEFT WINGER
tim cahill - RIGHT WINGER

then viduka upfront so get the ball to harry kewell or cahill and sprint down the wing and cross every ball i nearly get 7, i was 6-0 but i hade like 10 crosses and viduka got to them but missed the goal.

Nope, no luck involved.. Just practise - and plenty of it (and a bit of meddling with their line-up and formation helps). I can't stress enough how much you need to perfect the "chip" technique for this challenge. Once you find the sweet spot (I usually found it just before the penalty spot, within the box), 8 times out of 10 you should score.

Take a look at my thread for a formation and line-up suggestion that worked well for me.

Just a tad before the penalty box? The goalie doesn't even move. He doesn't move till I pass the penalty spot. If I chip basically at the penalty spot he just stands there and catches the ball.

:( I want to move on but I can't!!! :(

Did you really beat it using the chip shot?

Yes, it just takes a bit of perfecting. Believe me, there was a point when I almost gave up on this challenge and I didn't believe that the chip technique worked either!

The goalie should pretty much stand still (and possibly run back a little), and the ball should go right over him and in to the back of the net, making him look a bit of a tit for letting it in.!

Well, I got a game today were I scored 6 by the 82:00 minute, but then they scored and I didn't score for the rest of the game and it ended 6-1. The rest of the ~30 games I tried I didn't get so lucky.

I wish I could just pay someone to do this!!! lol!!

I just can't get the ball away from these guys and they take it away from me SO EASILY!

ive done like all the challanges in 1 day, but the only 1 left is brazil vs sweden, i can get 1 sometimes but never too, ive changed the teams and ive found making your team 3-4-3 formation, but the chip thing does work thats how i got passed aussie rules so easilly.

I absolutly have this challenge with a passion. Like WTF?? Seriously. This is so unbelievable. I am so mad right now. Its been a month that I have been stuck on this challenge. The best I have ever gotten was 6-1 about a week ago. The chip shot seems to work, but can someone tell me why 60% of my chip shots fly over the goal? If the damn things would land in the net I would have this challange done. It seems all my chip shots and all my headbutts fly just over the goal. I am really hating this game right now. I finished every other challenge all in 1 day. And I'm on a month and counting on Aussie Rules.......

Well I just got a 6-0 score. Too bad my sixth goal came during 90:00. This is so hard. Seems like my chip shots and my headers seem to always go over the goal. I'd much rather have the goalie block the shots then have them go over the goal. I wish there was another way. I'll do anything to get this beat. I have never been so frustrated. I hate this challange.

Note that the chip shot does have a kind of "invisible" power meter IIRC. Press the button too long and it flies over the net, too short and the goalie will probably catch it.. Gotta get it just right.

How I'm glad that I got that achievement done and rid of the game! lol..

I got to 5-0 within the first 10 minutes of the game, it was 5-0 at around 58:00. Then I didnt get another goal till 90:00 exactly and ended 6-0. Man, I want to beat this challenge so bad. I'll try that invisible power meter stuff. Try to get my chip shots and headers perfect. Is it bad to tap A repeatedly during a cross for a header?

I think I tapped B during a cross for a header, in case I had an additional shot on goal..

Of course, I only score 1 out of about 10 attempts!
