These forums should have a feedback system because once we hit the 1000's were gonna get some real trolls in here. I was thinking like types of feedback like,
Extreme Spamming
Flaming for no reason
Trolling
etc
Dunno if its been a suggestion yet but just a thought :)

Nah because loads of kids use this site too so the flaming for no reason will be a nono, not sure about extreme spamming and I have no idea what trolling means. :P

sorry but im having a dumb moment, i dont understand why you think we shouldnt have feedback, what if someone joins and he constantly makes posts about insults and trys to make everyone mad, what would we do about it?

ban his I.P address, but I for one wouldnt mind but I'm just saying there wont be one due to the amount of kids who use this forum.

If you feel someone is breaking the forum code of conduct, please send me a PM as I can't possibly see every post in here, althoughI try my best =)

It's a good idea but it will just be abused like the Xbox Live feedback system.

Yes, as moderators it is our duty to notice this behavior and take appropriate actions. If you feel that a person is displaying a negative attitude or you have been threatened contact either us or the Monster's. We relay all information to the Monster's who then have the power to ban and as someone briefly touched on before; they have the ability to block an IP address completely so we dont get troublemakers like the Xbox forums have.

well there was some trouble brewing on the promotions team but I think its died down

I think it would ge abused. Like just because someone is lets say popular means that 25 people will give him bad feed back because certain people hate winners.

yeah very true

However a rating system for the mods to use might be a good idea. I'm sure we can trust them to not do stupid things.

Us moderators have a thread only viewable only by us where we can see who has strikes against there name or who to keep our eye out for. We are very responsible and check it over with each other before we make any updates.

Yeah I kinda figured you had something like that. What I meant was for a stats that we can see like ameter bar. So a guy like that Vicha guy can see hes almost int he red and maybe say to himself. oh damn I better stop.

I think so. Alot of people come to sites and think they can get away with murder as long as they stay in the bouncds of the rules. However theres only so much slander a person can dish out before there kicked. but if they don;t know they don;t care. I'm sure the mods PM people but a meter would be more effective I think

April 6th, 2006, 09:22 AM
Well, Vicha shouldn't be bothering us any longer. I took care of that little problem. Well, I didn't, so to speak, but I at least asked the correct person, who took care of it.
KOBALT

either way i'm glad hes gone.
but back on topic I hope the meter is considdered

True. I would agree with a Feedback system, but I would limit to to people have influence on this site, like Contributors, Promotions, Moderators and such.
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 09:40 AM
yeah screw us low folk. I couldn't buy a position around here
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 09:45 AM
You can not have a feedback system that EVERY single person can use on this site. It wouldn't be fair at all. Like you stated above, if one person just happened to say one thing on one day that ****ed off like 30 people, then he would have 30 bad marks against him, when on any other day, he is liked by all.
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 09:45 AM
I agree with you.... I was kidding

Besides, maybe if this ever did happen, you would be among the Elite by then..

April 6th, 2006, 09:48 AM
LMFAO!
I couldn;t even get on the Promotions team.

April 6th, 2006, 09:54 AM
Oh believe me, I wonder what the Promotions Team actually even does here sometimes.

April 6th, 2006, 09:56 AM
Oh stop being a hater. They just want to help. Or get a nifty title
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 09:57 AM
Oh, I am not a hater at all. I was just expressing an opinion, which is now gone, BTW, before I get in trouble.

KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 10:02 AM
lol whatever...
either way I couldn't buy my way onto even that so o well
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 10:22 AM
It's got to be the other site. They know you are a big member of the other place, so they won't make you an Elite here..
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 10:23 AM
LoL I dout that really.
Hey its there place I'm just willing to help. If they don;t feel i'm worthy or whatever there reason maybe i'm cool with that. Its there place and they want things a certain way. I can respect that.

April 6th, 2006, 10:31 AM
Well, I think you help people out a hell of a lot more then I do. They only made me a contributor becuase of what I wrote up about Oblivion and the Shrines, and I offered them a donation, which they won't take..
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 10:33 AM
well I have no idea. no biggy. I'll just slum it.
why won't they take it?
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 10:37 AM
I don't know. Crono just said that thank you for the offer, but they would be to humbled to take it or something like that. He then said that he would suggest me as Site Contributor becuase of me helping people around here. I was like alright, thank you very much. I was serious about the donation though, I would be happy to help out if I could.
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 10:42 AM
well that was nice of you to offer. some places won;t take the money. Either way it was nice
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 10:45 AM
I think a site like this should have a donation system. Even if you make it like $1 a month or something. With 1000 members, that $1000 a month to help out with the bills and such. It would go a long way, I tell ya. And who the hell can't afford $1 a month? I eman, you could donate more if you wanted to, but if you just made it $1 a month, that would be cool.
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 10:47 AM
well think of it this way. how would a 12 yr old do that?
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 10:55 AM
A 12 yr old shouldn't be on this site without thier parent present. And I never said that the donation would be mandatory. I just stated that imagine if the 1000 members all donated $1 a month.
KOBALT
April 6th, 2006, 11:01 AM
Oh I thought you ment madatory. and why would they need a parent.
NamelessForever
April 6th, 2006, 11:08 AM
Because they are 12 and don't need to see you and I talking about hookers and measuring d**ks and crap like that. That's the problem with freaking kids nowadays, they see things they shouldn't see way to damn early. Then parents wonder why they grow up so damn fast and so defiant all the time.
