Thinking v. seriously about getting this title

This really looks like one of the stronger Arcade titles available.

I am thinking seriously about getting it.

Worth the 800 points they're askign for it?

If you like games like Metal Slug and Contra, then yes, you should buy it.

But, the Live co-op rarely works, you get the infamous "Waiting..." screen.

My opinion, no don't buy it, wait for Worms to come out :).

I loved this title! I really enjoyed it and I feel it's one of the top XBLA titles. There are so many great games on the Marketplace right.. most recently Small Arms and Heavy Weapon. Most of these titles are just frantic, twitch shooters similar to Contra in one way or another.

Any of those titles are great and shouldn't disappoint.

I am not a big fan of it so far. I guess it doesn't help that I just got done playing Heavy Weapon which is up there in my mind with games like Geo Wars in fun factor.

Is this game worth 800 MS Points? I'd say no. If you are looking for a game that can quickly boost your gamerscore or if you have been out of school 10 days straight from and ice storm (not that I'm complaining) then I would purchase Assault Heroes for the heck of it.

I'd echo that, pretty good game, but probably not worth 800 points (400 for sure, but 800 seems a bit steep).

Try the demo, if you really like that, then you'll probably like the game as really the full version is just more of the same. The game is a bit short (you can easily beat it start to finish on your first try in a hour or so). Most of the achievements are easy, but there's a couple that are a bit tricky (Survivor and Lair Slayer). I've probably put about 4-5 hours or so into this game and I have all but 3 achievements (the two previously mentioned and the co-op one), and that's without really trying.

Ive got it, it is pretty good, although a bit short. Most of the achievements are easy, apart form the ones mentioned above.

Or you could wait for Assault Heroes 2 coming later this spring?
