What is SS glitch?

I've heard of an SS glitch people have used in other posts, do tell what this is? PLEEEEASSEE!

[The Fjomp]

This is how you does it:

1. Arrange for a total of three people to be in a DOA4 lobby.
2. The host will get up to the SS ranking (or, possibly an F-, depending on a variable)
3. The host positions themself in front of the TV in the Lobby, centered from the left to the right.
4. The host presses "A" to view their stats, and is done.
5. One friend presses "Start" and joins the match. This will be the "Crown" player.
6. The other friend presses "Start" and joins the match. This will be the "Challenger" player.
7. Crown player chooses "Start Match" and both the Crown player and the Challenger player can choose combatants and venue.
8. When the match begins, Challenger player punches the Crown player four times, slowly. THE CALLENGER PLAYER MUST IMMEDIATELY TURN OFF THEIR 360 (Using the media remote seems to work just fine)
9. As soon as the match freezes, the Crown player counts to seven seconds and turns their 360 off in like manner.
10. After a short timeout, the host should see the number in the Wins column automatically begin incrementing. The host can close the room now at any time to lock their score and rank at a certain level.
11. The host then reopens their room, and will need to get a single win in a match to unlock the achievement for that particular rank.

If you wanna work a little bit more for it, try this:

1- Start a Survival Match
2- get 2 of your friends (or whatever amount) - HAS TO BE FRIENDS because outsiders will ruin this
3- decide who wants to rank up
4- start the match and let the person who's going to rank up beat the people up.
5- also when in match collect as many of the items since itll give you a better score.

I would love to do the SS glitch and get the achievements. However, I will only do it if I can find a way of going down to the lowest rank.

Yep you are correct. If after the two players leave and you join the game your rank will drop to F-.

or when the two count to 3 and leave the game you also follow that count to 3 and join?

OK, Im still confused, but whatever...

Who wants to help me out get the A, S, and SS achievements, and then help me go down to an F rank?

I would only do the SS glitch if I can go back to an F, so if someone knows how to do this and wants to help me let me know.

And I guess I would need instructions for Dummies. :)

OK, step by step:

1. Get the Achieve Grade "A" achievement.
2. Get the Achieve Grade "S" achievement.
3. Get the Achieve Grade "SS" achievement.
4. Get the Achieve Grade "E" achievement.

I want to do it in that order!!!

Well, order in the first 3 doesnt matter, as long as I end up getting the lowest rank!

I've actually accomplished glitch a different way that is not as complex as the way already described.

The SS glitch
1. Start a private room and get two committed friends to join it (because you don't know who is going to join).
2. When they get inside the room have the person who wants to glitch up go to the tv and press a to look at the stats. Make sure this person does not have the crown.
3. The other two people have to start a Winner-Stays match (I haven't tried anything besides this, so it may work with other modes).
4. The two people playing the game have to arrange a countdown to turn off their 360s at the same time. If you do not turn them off at the same time the glitch will not work.
5. During this, the third person not playing (looking at stats) should see their stats rising very fast. Your wins the game says you get will not be recorded when you do this glitch. If you want to get all of the A, S, and SS grades, I suggest you quit immediately once you get the SS rank.

Note: To get the achievements you have to play a match or two once you get the rank after doing the glitch.

The F- glitch is different but uses some of the same variables.
1. Start a three person private room with two committed friends and make them one match, winner-stays rounds.
2. Have the player who wants to glitch down stand in front of the tv and pull up the stats.
3. The other two people start a game.
4. Player 2 has to beat player 1 with a greatest.
5. Once player 1 sees the greatest sign, he immediately has to turn off his Xbox.
6. After player 1 turns off his xbox, player 2 has to wait a couple of seconds after his xbox freezes to make the glitch go into effect.
7. The player watching his stats should see them going down.
8. If the glitch does not occur, rinse and repeat. It took me and my friends an average of two tries to get the F- glitch.

Warning: Do not use your Xbox guide while doing this glitch, your 360 may freeze on you, making you do the whole glitch over again.

Warning: Rumor has it that Team Ninja is going to release a patch in March to get rid of this glitch, so, hurry up.
