I sent in this guide several weeks ago.. but nothing happened. I see a Ms. Pac-Man guide went through.. so here we go again..

Pac-Man Achievement Guide

There are 12 achievements worth 200 points
The achievements for this game have been rated Manageable ( 5/10 )
Before you start playing, go to the Options menu and set the number of lives to five.
You will still unlock all the Achievements and this makes the higher levels much
easier to pass. The only downside to this is that your score will not be registered.
Please note that the Achievements do not unlock immediately. You will receive them
after you get a game over.
1. Cherry [ 5 ]
Eat the Cherries that appear after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 1!
On the first round, after you eat about one-fourth of the Pac-Dots, the Cherry will
appear below the Ghost's house. Once it appears, make your way to it and eat it.
2. Strawberry [ 5 ]
Eat the Strawberry that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 2!
The same rules for the Cherry apply here. You must eat about one-fourth of the
Pac-Dots to make the Strawberry appear below the Ghost's house. Head to it and
eat it.
3. Orange [ 10 ]
Eat the Orange that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 3 or 4!
Once again, eat about one-fourth of the Pac-Dots to make the Orange appear below
the Ghost's house. Eat it up!
4. Apple [ 10 ]
Eat the Apple that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 5 or 6!
Eating around one-fourth of the Pac-Dots here will make the Apple appear below the
Ghost's house. Eat it and move on.
5. Melon [ 15 ]
Eat the Melon that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 7 or 8!
Make your way around the level, eating about one-fourth of the Pac-Dots. The Melon
will then appear and you'll be able to get it, unlocking this Achievement.
6. Galboss [ 15 ]
Eat the Galboss that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 9 or 10!
Same as all the previous levels, eating roughly one-fourth of the Pac-Dots causes
the Galboss to appear below the Ghost's house. Eat it to unlock this Achievement.
7. Bell [ 20 ]
Eat the Bell that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots in Round 11 or 12!
To make the Bell appear, eat about one-fourth of the Pac-Dots. It will appear
below the Ghost's house.
8. Key [ 25 ]
Eat the Key that appears after eating a set number of Pac-Dots after Round 13!
Level 13 on up will only feature the key. Like all previous rounds, eating around
one-fourth of the Pac-Dots will cause the Key to appear. Eat it and unlock the
final Achievement that requires you to eat the round reward!
9. All Ghosts [ 10 ]
Eat all ghosts in succession after eating a Power Pellet!
There's really no reason to go for this Achievement, because obtaining the much more
difficult Perfect Achievement will unlock this in the process. If for whatever
reason you do attempt this Achievement, try it on round 1 or 2. Being patient and
waiting for all four Ghosts to be nearby may take some time. When you eat the
pellet, the Ghosts will move away from you. Keep this in mind as you wait for them
to come near you.
10. Clear Round 5 [ 15 ]
Clear the beginner level by completing the first 5 rounds!
Fairly self-explanatory Achievement. Just finish the first 5 rounds to unlock this.
Below is a list of helpful tips to help finish these rounds.
- Clear the bottom row first. This is one of the more dangerous areas to be in.
- The tunnels are your friend. When entering one, you are much faster than the
Ghosts. Use this to your advantage when being closely followed.
- Be random! Faking direction changes can throw a Ghost off and save your life.
- The Ghosts give away which direction they go with their eyes, moments before
turning. This can be difficult to do while playing though, so be careful.
- Any paths that you have already cleared of Pac-Dots you will travel faster on.
11. Clear Round 21 [ 40 ]
Clear the advanced level by completing the first 21 rounds!
Just like the previous Achievement, all you have to do is clear round 21. The
same tips I gave above apply here. The only difference on the later rounds is
that the pellets will eventually stop turning the Ghosts blue completely. But
remember you can continue from your last level in this version of Pac-Man.
12. Perfect [ 30 ]
Eat all ghosts four times within a stage!
This is probably the hardest Achievement in the game for most people, and at times
can be very frustrating. Either you'll have very little trouble with it, or it
will put up a fight. It really varies from person to person. The Pac-Man forum
on A360P has links to videos, along with many tips and strategies to look over.
I'm simply going to list the ones I feel are the most valuable. If these don't
help you, I suggest heading to the Pac-Man forum.
Use either round 1 or 2. Some people prefer round 1 because the Ghosts are very
slow. Others find level 2 easier because the final Ghost emerges much faster.
In any case, you want to keep moving around until all four Ghosts are out of the
house. Using the tunnel to get them lumped together works well. Once you have
all four following you, head to a corner. If two or more turn away, do not eat
the pellet. Take the death if necessary. You don't want to risk wasting one of
the pellets for nothing. If you eat a pellet and one of the Ghosts is far away,
try to plan out his path and meet him there, rather than following him.
Once you eat all four Ghosts, things become much easier because the Ghosts will
all come out of their house together. They're now pre-lumped and much easier to
eat all at once. Keep using these tips for the next three pellets and you will
have this Achievement in no time!
