I just played the flash verison of this game tonight. Not easy with the keypad. But it remined me alot of Metal Slug, a game I love. To the people that have played Metal Slug 3 for Xbox how would this compare? That game was pretty hard at times.

I can compare the flash with the console version if you like. The console game is more organised, feels more polished and is also far fairer and more fun to play.

It's similar to Metal Slug, but be careful as the boss fights are tough and often require a good deal of memory to get through unfortunately.

That said, some of them are genius. I think the one at the end of stage 1-3 is actually a giant evil butterscotch pudding, which is worth anyone's money to be honest.

If youre still wondering, this game is pretty hard and at times cheap and frustrating, but its now 6 AM and I already have 140/200. The last 3 are more annoying than anything else, so dont worry about the achievements, you will get them in the process of enjoying what is a pretty decent game.

i played for about 30 minutes this morning and its one of the freakin' ****ing hardest games for a long time. really hardcore stuff, even on easy. respect to everyone who even plays this on medium...

by the way:
in germany there is no blood in the game. when we bite them heads off, you see flowers squirting 'round...

hell yeah, our country really SUCKS...

but when you change the settings and change the country you can have bloody fun, too...

I don't care what you guys say, this game is freakin hard.

I was pretty underwhelmed by this one, is really just a glorified version of Contra. Sure it's comical, but the gameplay is just frustrating as hell.

the game it self is a classic nowadays! after gettin this i now own 3 versions of this game and this i must say is the only one that comes close to the difficulty of the original! i only got the game about 2 hours ago and i have 3 acheivments so far there are about 3 or 4 really difficult ones and the rest can be got quite easy and with a bit of practise and also some can be got using glitches like the survival one which without the glitch would be nearly physically impossible but its a great game and is worth buying not for the acheivments but for the gameplay cause its just plain fun!

I've got 9/12 without using any of the glitches. Took a bit of practice, but most of them are not too bad. The game isn't hard if you go through each level a few times and find out the enemy/boss patterns.

Survival without the glitch? Forget about it. 10 mins for me, but practice practice practice. :)

Getting the no continue on the last boss on hard mode was the most fun.

man, i have trouble beating most parts of this, is there like a special trick to playing this, cuz its more like the game is playing me... haha
