Final Boss tips

If you want those achievements really easy, you better get your 2nd controller.

Choose your difficulty and start the game with the 2nd controller.

When you run outta continue's or have him near dead, join in with the first controller (your gtag logged in).

Then blast him to hell and you'll get the perfect fight and the [xxx] Alien achievements!

Easy.

so can u get the medium and hard achievements just by killing the final boss?

Maybe I was doing something wrong, but this trick only kind of half works.

First try, I had my main profile logged into my 2nd controller, and another profile on the 1st. I fought the boss on hard until he was almost dead and then pressed start on controller 2. I killed him with my main profile and got the Perfect Fight achievement, but not Expert Alien. On my other profile I got Expert Alien but no Perfect Fight.

I tried again, but this time I started with my main profile. I fought the boss until I was on my last life, and then hit start on the other controller. I killed the boss with my other profile, and this time I got Expert Alien, and my other profile got Perfect Fight.

That's weird, it worked fine on mine.

On easy I killed the boss just like normal.

Then I start up a game with controller#2 zone 3-5.
Kill the boss until he's allmost dead, log in with controller#1 with gamertag.
Finish the boss, get the achievements.

Got the normal and hard achievements this way.

this boss is annoying as he!!..
I finally beat him with that 2 controller thing on hard, and even though i used like 3 continues with my main profile it gave me perfect fight. im not complaining...but i only got expert alien, so you have to do it once for each difficulty i gues.

damn dont have a second controller.. got any solo tips?

Solo tips here, as I plan to do it legit by myself. I came inches away from gettign the perfect with this strategy.

1st Stage: Keep the heck away from him. When he approaches you, jump over and shot down at hime. When he throws the big nade, jump on a stand and get ready to avoid his gun. Jump over the short blasts while firing back. Duck under the high blasts while firing.

2nd Stage: Fire up the whole time. Stay indside the flame sets, all you have to do is follow them from one side of the screen to the over. When it pauses, jump on a stand that will make it impossible for the lasers to strike you (you'll figure this out quckly). When the nades come out, jump back onto the stand. Now there will get a gun firing at you. Simply walk from one side of the screen to the other.

3rd Stage: Stay the heck away from him. Fire while he approaches you. As he gets closer, jump over him while firing down. Keep this up wihile jumping over his fire. Once he starts to clip the wings, you have less room to work with. Be sure to constantly jump and fire down at him. Be quick with it, and he can't hit you.

Yeah thats the way to beat him!

im also using charged up shots only
and tossing grenades if i still have them.

but it sucks if you miss many of your charged shots
missing one can take some lifes :)

you don't need to use a second controller. if your good enough, set it to easy or medium, and take him head on. i took him out without using a continue on medium. it's very challenging, but if you keep an eye out for some tells for his attacks, you'll be able to dodge some if not most of his attacks.

-save your grenades for when he brings out his giant spaceship, when you jump and throw it you're guaranteed a hit.
-use charge shots, they may take a while to charge but if your on level with him, it a good shot to take out some of his health
-during pt.3 when your on the ship fighting him use a charged shot while crouched. it does help avoid some of his bullets.
-when you lowered half his health at pt.3, he'll start to focus SOME of his attention on the helicopters. use this as an op to pull some cheap charge shots out on him, but remember to watch out for his bullets.

can i just start on the last boss level or do i have to beat all levels on hard to get expert alien? plz reply :)

if have to beat the levels can i use the all buttons glitch?

Not sure about anyone else, but this DOES NOT work for Perfect Fight after the patch, at least that is what I am finding. I haven't been able to get that to unlock using this method.
