I find it kind of funny that of all the things, this gets a sticky, when three are proving problematic and some of the other methods for different achievements work perfectly (Head Chomp, etc.)...but alright, whatever.

For Hat 14, I've got it to work four times without fail.
Have two controllers, set both to hard. Have your main profile (the one you want the hat with) as the second player. Play through the level 3-2 on your main profile and when at the boss (the tank thing), but before you defeat the boss, join the game with your secondary controller (which should be the first controller with your alternate account), beat the boss. Then, just move forward and blow up the wall while playing as your main profile on the second controller.

Like I said, has worked for me four times on four different accounts. (Hooray for fake accounts saying I live somewhere else!). Just playing through the level normally never unlocked it. If someone finds an easier method they got to work...that's obviously preferred.

And 25 didn't unlock using the same strategy. So 25 and 26 are still not unlocking for anyone it seems.

Maybe if you could actually read (seriously, give it a try, tends to help in life), you would realize I'm not talking about the final boss.
Honestly, I'm amazed some people make it past childhood and don't fall prey to choking on marbles or drinking drain cleaner.

I figured since 14, along with 25 and 26 were proving problematic, I'd screw around and try and find some way to make it unlock regularly since a few people said they had it. That way worked.

It is about the mother ****ing hats. #14, it didn't unlock through normal playthrough for me and it's one of the three most people don't have. Doing what I said UNLOCKED THE ****ING HAT.

I went back and beat 3-2 without the controller thing, on hard. And got it. Although this is my 3rd try to get it, I did get it none the less. So maybe it is glitched, or I did something the first two times to mess it up. BUT, it does unlock for beating 3-2 on hard.

Thanks to anyone and everyone that posted how to get it. I think everyone needs to calm down about these hats lol.

All left is 25,26. Which are either glitched, or are insanely tricky to get.

hey dudes, I did the level 3-2 as well, here's what you need to do. Have 2 controllers so 2 profiles on hard, now start picking the level with the controller with your main profile. than play through the level and If your about to get game over on your first controller press start on your second controller which you signed in as hard to, the weird thing is it somehow on easy? cause you have 7 continous, so I think thats the glitch well anyways you can complete the level with your second controller if you want and you'll still get the hat, but only on your main profile..

well it sure worked for me, but you have to use 2 profiles both on hard and most people have their first guy who they use in the level on easy to get through the level thats why it didnt work than, so just use my strategy I swear it's the real strategy, at least for me it is and I did try all the other **** and that didnt work so.. and its the EASIEST way I quess

What is strange is that this site has a picture of the mad hatter achievement (as in it is not greyed out) - thus at least one person in the world (the one who sent in the picture) has obtained this elusive achievement.

It's not grayed out because Behemoth provided the images to a360p.

If you look at, say, the mygamercard.net leaderboards, you'll see that no one has the Mad Hatter achievement.

-Kill a certain number of enemies in one tunnel dig. DOWN+Y
-Die a certain number of times underground.

again just some suggestions. you don't need to do them, but maybe 25 and 26 are more complex to unlock.

I wasn't able to get 12 or 25 normally. beat the levels on hard, but they didn't unlock. I had to use the same technique as perfect fight: sign in player one as a 2nd gamertag, player 2 is yours, play through the level. at the end, sign in as your gamertag and finish the level. the hats unlocked 1st time.

I've gotten hats #14 and 25.
all i did was beat the respected levels i.e 3-4, on hard on player.
i died, had to use continues, but in the end still got the jesters hat and Private Eye hat.
BTW, if it will help, i was wearing the goggles while i did these.
i also got the roster hat by blowing up the Behemoth-logo building using grenades. not the tank
