Venom looks pretty cool but it sucks that they didn't stick in some ripped guy or at least bulked up the current guy. Anyway, what's going on w/ Spiderman 3? Like, is Spiderman in the black suit or Venom or what?

I think it goes that another guy gets some infection and becomes Venom and that Spiderman gets the infection and turns into like a bad guy.

I don't really know, I'm guessing but they are different people.

That "black" stuff is called the symbiote, If I remember correctly J. Jonah Jameson's son goes on a mission out of space and when he comes back he brings the symbiote with him. It bonds with spiderman to make the symbiote spiderman "the black one" then it bonds with "Eddie Brock" which makes Vemon.
It makes spiderman alot stronger etc but it drives him to what should I say.. "The dark side of the force" and it effects his life really badly. So he trys to get rid of it.

There is more than Two villians, Sandman, I am guessing Vemon (although you don't see him in the trailers, because I think they are keeping him for the film) and Harry Osborn gets the goblin gear on although I don't think he officially becomes the new Green Goblin.. just a goblin of some kind.

And why isn't this in the media forum?

Saunders is correct, if you have played MUA you can unlock a symbiote costume which Spiderman has this black costume.

Eddie goes to the church to pray to God to kill Peter Parker and at the same time, Peter is at the top of the church fighting off the symbiote, he rips off a piece and it falls to the pews below where Brock is and it attachs to him because it is attracted to anger.

Venom was my favortie Spider Man villian. I never even read the comics i just really enjoyed playing old spider man games.

Eddie Brock in the cartoon got tied up by Spiderman and the Symbiote takes over Brock while he is tied up. Venom looks awesome. Sandman, Venom, HobGoblin and a darker Spiderman. This is defintely going to be the best if they stick to the story and try to improve on it.
