Can you some how play jap games on an american xbox360 or do u need to buy a jap system?

You would need a Japanese console unless the games are region free, meaning they work on all Xbox systems. I believe that is the right term but either way you get the point.

Yeah, region free is right.

I know that for the Gamecube (maybe Xbox?) you can do a hardware modification that lets you play games from any territory but other than that you'll need a Japanese console, like others have said.

i also wanted to if u play a region free game that is still jap but lets u play it on the american xbox360 and then u play that same game when it comes out for the u.s would u get 2000 points or 1000? for beating the same game but different regions
