Ive never heard of Alone In the Dark. Any details?

Its a horror game like silent hill, and i've heard its going to be set in central park! sounds weird but i think it will be a superb game! well better than the last ones anyway, that wont be too hard to achieve!

Yeah, it's a horror game set in an exact replica of Central Park. The article (EGM) says that it looks real decent, compared to past games, and that it might be a really good revival of the series. Should be interesting.

Actually the first one came out in 1991 for the DOS Windows PC. I would know because it was one of the first games i ever played.

Yes but it has nothing to do with the story line of the game and it sucked.

The original Alone in the Dark for the PC is one of the greatest games ever made. It was the first survival horror game (at least that I played in the early 90's). If it wasn't for Alone in the Dark, there wouldn't be a Resident Evil or Silent Hill. Alone in the Dark 2 was also awesome. And of course, Alone in the Dark 3 was cool because it was set in the old west. I was very disappointed with The New Nightmare, though. From what I have seen of this new Alone in the Dark, it looks great so far.

I heard it's set to release in early April. If it's anything like the Silent Hill series, then I can't wait for this.
