Mission Rankings

I was wondering if the different rankings in single player missions give you different schematics when you complete them.

I don't think so, after the first few i have yet to get anymore outside of the Data Packs

Actually I spent some time with the first mission and there are like one or two more schematics that you get for getting a S rank vs getting an A or lower.

I don't understand the grading system...I had a base mech, all the wrong weapons, and actually ran out of ammo on the Red Eye mission. The base was almost destroyed, and I just stood there watching, and I got an S ranking. When I used my hi-power mech and blasted through a level in under a minute, taking no damage, I got a B. WTF? I actually found A's and S's seem to be easier to get on Hard...if you live, you get a good grade.
