WTF!!! How do I take out the Anti-Satellite Cannon???

shout it alot and hit it alot with a sword. It may not seem like your doing anything to it, but it takes alot of damage. Took almost a full 30 gernades from my gernade launer, like 11 hits with my laser sword, and maybe 6 or 7 hi power laser cannon hits to destory it.

I think its one of the secret achievements.

That would be a no... it's justa mission. using my laser rifles i just flew right up to it and went to town took about 10-20 shots, then you have to get away cause it causes a MASSIVE explosion that it really frickin sweet to see.

The thing has rediculous ballistic defense, but it has mediocre ap defense. The trick to take the thing out is to use a weapon that has as much PA Piercing as possible. Laser Rifles have mediocre PA Piercing and can get easily get the job done, but may take a few shots.

The best way to blow it up is with the back mounted hi-laser-cannon. If you want a really easy S rank on this one, make the lightest and fastest mech you can, and equip two of the back mounted HLC02-SIRIUS hi-laser-cannons. As the game starts out, jet to the left side of the tower, stand fairly close (but still outside the blue energy shield). Lock-on, fire both your laser cannons (only takes 2 shots from both cannons), then turn around and jet out of there. (try to avoid damage on your way out since it still counts against you)

Makes it really fast, and really easy.

so did i. I've beaten it on hard. All the secret acheivements deal with ACs that join the fight after the normal objectives are complete. this one did not have one.
