I can destroy all three of the subs but I have no idea how to destroy the battleship

i just shot it.
my main bot uses grenade cannons, so a pair of those usually kills anything

Gotta use something strong for this mission dont worry about the smaller ships circle the big one and shoot with something strong (like strong rockets or grenade launchers or something.)

I used my Ultimate Mech and it wasn't too hard.

And yet the "Ultimate Mech" still hasn't managed to beat all the missions on Normal??

No kidding, I bet your "Ultimate Mech" isn't that ultimate.

You're best bet for this mission is a balanced mech (mob and def around 60+) and use dual Grenade Launchers (the first one). On both hard and normal, ignore the helicopters, and just fly to your left when you start and you'll see the first ship. One hit (with both launchers) sinks most of them (on Normal, one hit sinks everything, on Hard one hit sinks the subs, two for the ships)...just fly high, find a ship, drop down and shoot it, and either launch flares or use quick boost to dodge the missiles.
