I'm just wondering how many here play late at night.....I'm usually on between Midnight and 6am eastern.

Any other Insomniacs out there tonight?

I play quite a bit more at night than I do during the day. I have class to thank for that though. Funny thing is, I have my best games at night when my friends arn't even on.

I usually play between 11:00 PM and 2:00 AM EST. Fulltime, daytime job, and wife at nights using the HD TV. :(

I must admit it's difficult playing Geometry Wars when your eyes are tired. Think I got my 1Million on a weekend.

That used to be the only times I played, until the 360 came out. Then it was like every second I could spend near it, I was there. I skipped a bunch of full nights sleep to play 360. Now I live with my girlfriend, and I can't play much later than 2am *sob*

I'm on after midnight EST most nights of the week as I work second shift. I'm also on in the late morning before I have to head into work as well. :D

You can probably guess how late I am up by how late the news posts are on the front page. :)

Most of the time, I head to bed about 5 in the morning. I do better work at night.

I always try to go to bed like between 1-2am. But most of the time I can't sleep, so I play games. No games I really want to play right now, so I'm back on the forums here =p

Tru, gaming is much more productive than sleep, what do I accomplish when I'm sleeping?!

Well I guess there's all that stuff about the body recouperating it's strength and the mind settling the day's issues and blah blah but that's prolly all old wives tales anyhow

Add me mang... I work 7pm - 7am night shift in the hospital and so on my days off I am usually gaming hard post midnight when the wife goes to bed so she can go to school the next day. I had to switch my old gamer tag over to this one pre-360 launch so I got a pretty big gapping whole in my friends list, so anyone that is down for some serious fighting or teamwork type games hit me up with a friend invite.

I play late at night and usually only catch europeans on at that hour. It's fun at first (their accents and all) but gives you a headache after a while.

I like the japanese players the best, they dont talk much and they're all business.

See thats the thing, excellent gamers.. but I like to throw in a "good counter", "nice combos" once and a while while playing DOA:4.. and I feel like I am talking to myself since its 5am and no one is responding in my dark living room, just my cat looking at me funny.

This one time my cat sniffed my computer chair and then sneezed. Couldn't stop laughing. I don't take drugs but it's little things like that which make me lose it. So solitude has its moments.

I walked into our bedroom once-our cat was sleeping on the dresser-on clean clothes! So I yelled at the cat-it ran from me, down the whole length of the dresser (6 ft dresser). Her tail was straight up in the air, and her very visible "brake light" was pulsing some little "Pfft! Pfft! Pfft! at me as she ran. Bad enough to smell and hear cat farts, but to see the orifice actually emitting? Memorable, certainly, but not in a good way.
Wow, this thread has taken a foul turn!

Our game center is open until midnight, most nights, and then the Mrs. and I get to play for 2 or 3 hours. On Saturday nights (like right now) we hold an overnight party. Currently, we have 15 gamers here until 8 am. When it's not so busy, I can usually get a few games in, but I make a crappy multiplayer teammate because, well, I'm a crappy player-but also, because I have to get up often to ring up sales,get different games for the players, etc etc etc. Damn customers! What, do they think I am here for their amusement? :)
I don't think I've played Halo 2 online for 6 weeks now...sigh.

i do have bouts of real insomnia, once i slept 3 hours in 2 weeks, that was rough, i nearly got hit by a truck cause i was walking about town in a daze, lol, anyway..

I also use to just stay at up night and sleep during the day, but now i'm all grown up and have a job so i can't and it sucks *cries*
