****** KNOCKOUT KING - HOW TO UNLOCK IT ******

If you're stuck on the Knockout King Achievement like I was and many others, then all of your pain and suffering is about to be over.

Many of you, including me until I unlocked it, were using some step-by-step guide that told you to knock out the opponents by bumping into them. Don't ever read that guide again. When I unlocked the Achievement, I noticed that I had lost the round, but I hadn't even knocked out the guy who won. So I started a new profile right away to test out this idea, and the good news is that it unlocked right on 100! Here's the deal...

It's not about knocking out anyone else at all! This caused many wasted hours for players everywhere. All you need to do is get yourself knocked out by getting bumped out by one of the other cars. I also tested getting knocked out against a wall a few times before I reached 100, and those did not seem to count. So all you have to do is...

Set up a match in Ice Box Last Man Standing
Single Player (Have not tested Multi-player)
Items: Off
Hazards: Off
Health: 100
Difficulty: This really doesn't matter, because you can ram yourself against the wall and lose health until the very last bump against a car.

Just ram yourself into a wall before you hit a car to get yourself knocked out when you have less than one cirlce of health left. Also, press A afterwards or just hold it in if you're boosting, and the other cars will blow up right away and you can speed things up. Remember to skip the start and end screens also, to make it even faster. Then just hit Replay, and repeat. You'll have this Achievement so fast you won't believe it.

Note: When I got this I was not even connected to Xbox Live! because my cable was out. So it shouldn't matter either way.

If you're new to this and this is your first time reading a guide on this Achievement, take a moment of silence once you unlock it for all of those who spent countless hours trying to do it. You have no idea how lucky you are.

Logan - did just as you described and got the achievement after about 20 minutes of playing last night. Of course I had played for about 20 hours trying to get this before using the method that Blitz games had suggested and that is posted in other forums.

I thought this was glitched!

It unlocked after four tries and a knockout from the back! Logan Cale, you deserve to be credited.

I just stood still in the middle of the ring and let them hit me. That was all I did! :)

So I did get it after my last post, but the funny thing is everybody out there who had made posts in the other way to get it acted like they were so good at getting knockouts to get it when in fact they really sucked and were getting owned by the computer.

right now, this works, i let the cpu kill me a 100 times and got it, just make sure when u die its from the cpu hitting u, if u hit a wall before u die it wont count. thanks for the info.

So, all you do is let them kill you but make sure you are knocked out by them and not a wall? Seems simple enough. I'll attempt to 200/200 this sometime and I'll finally be done with all 3 BK games. ;)

I can confirm that this method works considering I had zero previous time with this game and just started to do this after I beat the last tournament. I didn't knock out that many people throughout the game so this method had to have have been the reason I unlocked it. Thanks!

i just want to make sure im doing this right. I start a game and keep boosting myself into the walls until i have low health. then i let someone bump into me (while i am holding "a") and i blow up. two of them die (along with me) but the third one lives. So the scores after the match say that i came in 3rd and the two people i took out with me tied for 2nd and the third person (that stays alive) comes in first. Am i doing this right? If i am when should the achievement pop up?

Not 100% positive, but I would have to say yes it does count.
As long as you didn't run in to the wall yourself, you should be good.

sticky this for sure i just need to get my game back from my friend now and then i wil get the achievement. all the other ones were a ***** to get without boosting!! me and my friend El Connro did the striker one in like 20 mins being on the same team. found a glitch that is impossible to explain by writing so if you wanna no it, message me and tel me you want to know the striker glitch. thats again logan and good luck everyone!! I used to work for Burger King and got these games for free but had never played this one. Thanks to this guide I have the achievement 2 hours after popping the disk in my 360. I just hooked up my arcade controller and used a bottle to hold down the 'A' button and didn't even have to sit through the games. :D

Logan, if you're still around here somewhere, many thanks. Granted I was close to reaching 100 knockouts due to hours and hours and hours of play, but thankfully your guide kept me from needing a new 360.

Its been yrs, and I still don't think blitz has changed their guide.
