hardest game ever

of all the games on the 360 this one has to be by far the hardest game i've played yet. just played for 7hours staight and i can't beat mission 1 for chapter 3. it's just way too confusing and once you commit to picking a mech your stuck with it unless you have enough money to upgrade or buy the schematic but you have to beat the missions in order to get money.! i'm not trying to scare anyone off from trying this game but i've never played any of the armored core games until this one and i probably wont play any future ones after trying this one.

yeah, armoured core games are usually hard for people that have never played them before.All I can say is good luck and don't give up. I use the mech I started with all the way until chapter 5 or so, so your not really stuck with a useless mech.

i take that back, kind of, without instructions and no knowledge of what weapons are good to use in certain situations and not enough money to upgrade, i found this game to be pretty annoying ( originally posted this as i was trying countless times to beat any of the chapter 3 missions to no avail). once i beat the first of the data packs it began to go easier- i now have 800 points in only 2 days but i did seriously struggle there for a while. oh, and i'm from bristol, dragunz.

"Ultimate Mech" BUSTED...I counted 730 in 3 days, and a week to get to 880. I guess it wasn't ultimate enough to beat hard, eh? Data packs are the best bet for upgrading your mech, as a simple design with two Laser Rifles can win just about every one, scoring you millions of credits and freeing up your build options. when I quit playing I had 40 some odd million, and had bought one or two of every part, so they make running out of money pretty hard to do!

If you really want me to break it down for you...You got your first achievement on 3/21, played on the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and the 28th. That's more than 3 games/days. Simple isn't it? :D

I have never played any of the Armored core games before and i beat the whole thing within like a week, except for that last one it's a tough one. yeah i didn't really buy all the parts i just equipped what i wanted and bought them when it said i didn't have them.


Couple tips: for just one (or more) highly-mobile enemy AC use laser rifles, for smaller groups of enemies try grenade cannons, for large mostly immobile targets go for blades. And if one doesn't work try something else figuring out the right weapons is part of the fun.

Really isnt that hard... just takes a small degree of coordination to be able to do everything you have to do at once.

I was bad at Mech Assault and Chromhounds because it was slow and confusing. Will this be pretty easy?

This is a fairly fast passed game. Really wont know till you at least rent it.

the easiest way it was for me to beat the missions in this game on hard was pretty much to go against my instincts to use all the massive weapons, and just use blades and the occasional grenade launchers... i despise how well it works...
