185k Ach

Anyone got any advice to get this? I got 140k but was nowhere near 185k. Also I got to say this is an extremely good game.

If you read the credits or intro w/e this game was an intern project that everyone at microsoft liked so they put it on the marketplace for free. Thxs Microsoft for fun game!!

So any insight on how to get the last 20 points for 185k ould be appreciated thanks.

I played CO-OP on Insane with one other dude and we both marked up at about 165k. Not completely sure how to grab the elusive 185k. For a guess it's either play SP on Insane or do a MP game but have a 'Gentlemens Agreement' to allow you to do most of the blasting.

From what I've noticed the points are the same (or damn close) on insane as well as normal. It really seems like a SP thing or a no one shoots except on the bosses, since everyone gets those points

if you have 3 controllers can you attach 3 ships and get a 3x bonus?

No, attaching doesn't yield a noteworthy bonus.

I did it with my friends, we did the entire game with all four of us attached constantly and we only scored 100k each.

No, I mean if you play by yourself with 3 of you controllers. Thus you get bonus damage on ur specials. So easier to kill more stuff

You probably could attach 3 ships, but it isn't difficult to do it with just 2. Having 2 ships connected makes the weapons much more powerful. Plus you can still move around without much trouble. I would also recommend for anyone going for this achievement to rack up an extra 2000 points or so by gathering pickups and destroying mines on the level 5 boss. Also, go for the seeker missile pickups if you see them. They work great for racking up extra enemy kills and more points.

I have just got this achievement by playing with one mate and basically he let me kill as much as I could. We also tended to let me get all the offensive weapons and he grabbed the wepaon that disables enemies so that I could then line up and destroy them all for the points. Managed to get the 185k before the final boss on Level 6...

I have tried this time and time again, my best is 175k, I can't figure out how to make up that 10k in points to save my life.
