Lancer Evo X???

my favorite car series has always been the Lancer Evo series, but once I saw tpictures of the EVO X, i felt totally dissapointed. its so ugly compared to EVO VIII and IX. heres a link:

i dont like it at all.....same with the new volkswagen gti's i dont like them.....the manager at a gamestop by me has a pretty sweet evo....idk what year though probly a 2005 or 2006

I like the new Jetta... I think it looks sick, also the Eclipse looks nice as well. I would take either of those cars...

i love the lancer,but this one doesn't look anywhere as good as they used to be..they look to much like a cobalt and before they looked sweet b/c they looked like rally cars and how can you not like rallies?

I've always loved the Lancer series, and to be perfectly honest I think this is one of the best looking cars IMO right now. The new Spyder is on top as well. But the new EvoX is a beautiful creation. I'd take it in a heartbeat, I've actually been considering saving up for it ever since I saw it at launch, they're fairly cheap. The other car I've wanted for over a year now is the Cobalt SS. Gorgeous.

I didnt check the link cause ive already seen the pictures, but I totally agree. Just like the new nissan skylines, have transformed their look to look like a acura

Like some people beleive the BMW is taking a dive in german designing- but their performance is top notch :)

The Evo 6.5 TMK Edition was the best Evo ever made. The Evo IX's are pretty good as well. Every year they get heavier and heavier. I do not like the Evo X at all. But I am curious to see how the new powerplant compares to the 4G63.

I used to own an Evo VIII and wouldn't hesitate at buying another Evo.

I agree on the TMK Edition Evo 6. One of the best Evos ever made... and great looking as well. I'm personally a big fan of the WRX STi, but I wouldn't mind owning an Evo 6 :wink: To me, that's the best model of all. (Although they're nowhere near the STi on performance hehe)

As for the new look, it takes away what we've all known the Evos for, their mean, fast look of a rally car. But remember that this is just a prototype design, so they could change a few things still. Maybe they'll do something about the powertrain to keep up with the Subarus.

I've always been a big fan of the Lancer series and I was hoping to get one for my 16th birthday as my first car. I don't dislike the looks of this one, I just think that they should have stuck to the "old" look of the series.
