how come when i create a new account on my 360 i can't sign up for the free 30 day gold subscription anymore. it doesn't even give me the option.

is there a limit on how many you can have per console or something?

Yeah, I always heard there was..But it seemed like I had unlimited of those things..I went to make one yesterday and it didn't work..Dunno!

I've heard that you are only allowed five of them. Not completely sure though, thats just what I heard.

man, that's stupid if it only allows you to have a certain amount.

but the free trials have run out for all the ones i have on there...shouldn't they reset or something?

i don't want to delete those accounts... cuz a few of them are some of my friends' accounts.

MS said they canceled them somewhere on xbox.com.

My friend told me to make an account for Halo with one, but I couldn't find so I went over to xbox.com and they said they discontinued them.

I have made 2 yesterday and both worked, you have to click on Keep Silver and then it will give you the option.

I know that was at least my fourth free account.

nope, definitely tried this earlier and it didn't work.

How do you do this to begin with? Cause I could really use it for xbla demos, and for celebrity status for burnout.

To make another account?
On the dashboard before you [homerunhitter7] signs in you have to go to Join XBOX LIVE or something like that, you'll be prompted to the screen where you made your original account and then go through that and what not. Then at the end it should say "Thank You For Joining XBOX LIVE You Have a 31-Day Gold Trial". I think it may only be available to Elite and Premium console owners but I can't confirm it.
