View Full Version : Holy Crap these challenges are hard

Understanding that the only person in the world to get the challenges completed accidentally glitched it (I don't believe he did it on purpose), how are some of these even possible?
I have 25 complete out of 40 (17 Golds, 7 Silver, 1 Bronze), but some of these are downright infuriating. I don't think I have ever been this mad about a game in my life.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have tried every skill, tactic and method I know trying to beat some of these.....but damn they are hard. Worst thing is I consider myself a very competent Fifa player.

I just got the game about an hour ago and have managed to do about half the challenges, some are ridicilously easy. But other's where you have hardly any time to score 2 goals are near impossible at the moment.
If I was to suggest tactics, I always think scoring from the kick off is good. I usually run into the opposing half a little way, then pass back. Run up with the midfielder and then lay a through ball. It doesnt work all the time, but when it does you get a clear chance on goal straight away.
EDIT: Are their any particular ones you're stuck on?

Yeah, I will get a list tonight....one I remember at the moment is Viva La France....3 goals in like 13 minutes, which is really like 4 real time minutes.

Same here. I gave up and play other games in the meantime. Hell, not even RR6 unfair enemies drove me so goddamn mad.

What I find more infuriating isn't the more challenging scenarios but the lack of an achievement point breakdown.
Rather that have a giant 500 pt achievement, why not have several acheivements for completing a variety of scenarios or 5 pts for each or whatever tha math works out to.
Throw us a friggin bone here....

they should have had loadsss of smaller achievements like for scoring early, having a player who scores more than 10 goals in world cup, not loosing stuff like that

Please could you give the name of the challenges your stuck on so i can play the team and see how they play and the formation they use. Then i will be able to tell you the best fomation and style to play against them.
EDIT:
Also as someone said earlier a good tip is to be able to score straight form kickoffs. I score from about 75% of my kickoffs

What's the easiest one to do? I've tried a bunch and they seem impossible. And why is Mexico vs USA so freagin' difficult? Is the setting ratcheted up for this match?

Ridiculously difficult and downright infuriating. Have come close to chucking my controller on several occasions. The computer is just too good - he gets the ball off me on most occasions.
Why can't EA make a realistic game of football (or at least give all the official licences to Konami who clearly can).

Run straight at the goalie and tap B. The ball should skid on the ground and go into the goal via one of the posts. Very easy.
