Heres how to unlock each mode:

Cognito mode:
Complete all 80 Puzzle mode worlds.

Finity mode:
Complete 280 levels of Endless mode.

Hyper mode:
Complete 8 levels in Action mode.

Twilight mode:
Complete 17 levels in Classic mode.

No other modes are unlocked for beating Twilight but you can get an achievement for completion of 10 levels.

There is one mode missing in this listing, and I think it's called "Original" mode... Meaning the old Be***eled1 game. It is the same game but without the power and hyper cubes...

To unlock this mode you have to circle (probably only clockwise) the stick highlighting the game modes in order a couple of times. But watch out for not highlighting the bottom button that switch modes to the unlocked mode.

Since i'm french and maybe this is not clear, highlight these in order
CLASSIC
ACTION
ENDLESS
PUZZLE
and do it a couple of times, the game will automatically start the game in "Original" mode!

Can anyone shed some light on the modes and how they play? I got Cognito mode, so I know it's a remix of Puzzle mode....what about the others....?

Action mode - ***els come from top on one move, then the bottom on the next, on and on...

Hyper mode - Insanely fast action mode.

Finity mode - A timed game that includes rocks and bombs like in puzzle mode.

I culled this info from the web so it may not be 100% correct. I've only unlocked cognito mode myself. If anything is wrong, PM me and I'll change it.

Hmm...there has to be anothe way to unlock Finity Mode, doesn't there? Considering how many people on MGC have 190/200 and the only achievement they're missing is Endless mode, that would have to be the case. Anyone know?

Ok, it seems all of those poor people ran into the huge glitch in this game. It apparently cannot unlock two achievements at the same time and since they cleared Endless as their last mode, they only got the MultiMode achievement and not the one for Endless. Everybody better watch out for that...

Not completely true, although it seems that way, MysticBoricua and teamsaxo both completed endless mode last and got all achievements.

That's cool for them, but I'm not going to risk it. Going for Endless before i finish Action.

Then again, if the game glitches and sometimes can't hand out two achievements, I guess it doesn't matter which mode I finish last if it's gonna glitch on me...oh well, it'd feel more painful if it happened on Endless.

That's Twilight Mode you are referring to. Action mode is essentially a Timed Endless Mode.

Speaking of it, did I just get lucky on my first try or is Twilight ridiculously easy compared to the other modes? I got the achievement and had trouble intentionally losing for like 5 levels after that!

I actually died on Level 5 on my 1st go. :oops: It put me off having the dynamic of the game change like that.
I did it easy the 2nd go. Most people don't have trouble with it, though and do do it on their first go.

Yeah, well, you probably lost from bad luck. Seriously, if there's one game on the whole of the 360 that you actually can blame your losses on bad luck in, it's this one. :D

But, yeah, it took me a few levels before I figured out how Twilight worked too. Quite an interesting mode, I think, but the way it works makes it too easy so it got boring pretty fast. :|

Just tried Finity Mode after "completing" Endless. Oh no - another Action mode with bombs and rocks...well, I think I'll never get 200/200, what with Action being tough to say the least and Classic seeming to be unreachable also (level 15 so far for me). Anyway, I'm returning to normal games for a while....

I beat Finity Mode on the first try while voice chatting with someone. ;p It's so easy the bombs that go off basically beat the levels for you. You'll get it!
