Ice Maker made fast

Create a map using the maximum water tiles they allow. (I made a map with two large pools) Create two characters, one should be a ice mage, the other is unimportant. Then you can adjust that characters level in the editor, so max it out at 12. Play an elimination game with two controllers and cast the Winter Storm spell on the water. It freezes 15 tiles at once.

Or you can just make a HUGE map (12x12) with ice and have an extra fire mage in there. Use Inferno and Blaze to melt it all and then use the Ice Mage to create the ice.

You can't make a huge map with water. It limits how much you can put on the map and it's not very much..

That is why I said "max water"...you make one giant pool of water until it says you can't anymore, but is just about 50 tiles worth if you put it all together (didn't count it, but got the achv twice on my one custom map (once per game) with sep accounts), so it has to be awful close, as I didn't freeze anything while playing the story mode.

Were you saying the limit on water does not apply to ice? If so, then your method would def be better!

How do I set up the game to use two controllers? I tried under "local multi player" but the game only recognized controller 1.

You can get 2 achievements in one round here. After you get the achievement by freezing enough tiles, you can end the match by pushing your one opponent off the map - that's another achievement.
