View Full Version : Is the glitches section really necessary?

Am I the only one that thinks the glitches category is making things harder? I think every type of info should be posted under that games category. It would be alot easier to find all the info available on that game, instead of having to check two categories.

We had a lot of requests for a glitches category, and we're trying to keep all of the glitches out of the specific games category. People kept telling us they want tips, not ways to cheat, and others said that glitches exist and we shouldn't ignore them. We made this as a way to try to please all sides, but you can never please everyone.

Too true.

i thinkt he glitches is needed, but it should be glitches/spoilers, so if you dont want to ruin the game, u go to the normal catagorie, not the glitch one.

I personally prefer it if everyone about one game was under that game, and people just wrote clear titles so people know it was a glitch / spoiler / whatever, but as stated above you can't suit everyone, i just think that would be neater, it's all personal preference.

I agree with the current implemetation of a separate forum. Where we would we put the glitch you can use when you are using the Origami on the DirectTV blade that provides 10 GamerPoints when you order Napolean Dynamite?

Nah, that would just be easier and you're lazy! :P
I think the honest gamers are thanking us =)

I think glitches make a game you have already beaten more interesting. And even though they may not be the most honest way to beat a game, stop complaining and just dont use the glitches! Alot of people (including me) enjoy glitches becuase of the new perspective they give on the game and becuase replaying a beaten game almost always gets boring. If you dont like glitches don't use them; glitches should stay for good!

If that was to me I guess you didn't read my first post, I'm all for glitches, thats why I don't see why we should keep them seperate from its respective games topic. I just wanted to have all the information about one game no matter how immoral they may be, in one place.
But as you see the monsters gave a good enough answer as to why it is like it is. So this topic has been pretty dead for pretty long

Yeah I don't mind it if people would put *spoiler* in the title.

Or you could just put a tacked thread and call it glitches, but I like seeing the glitches forum. NOT that I want to glitch, but rather it is nice to know what is out there and who might be using them.

The thing that sucks though and I've seen it happen so many times already is that people post glitches in the game thread anyway, even though there is a section clearly marked 'GLITCHES'. Or you get people that post the same glitch in the game section AND in the glitches section.

And that's why there are mods.

Uh oh. I am a Father and that's not what I want to see. Your school work should always come first, way before playing 360. Hehe...j/k man. I am a Father though, and my son hates that I make him do his homework before he can play..

I remember having this same talk with my dad when I was younger, except the system then was the Atari and the NES. Damn, does that bring back some memories...

My daughter is 2 months old and I need to find a baby controller :)

They should make one of those mini controllers like they have for the PS2 for the 360. That would be cool.

i like the glitches forum, it keeps the gamer aware of problems in current software the gamer owns or plans to purchase.
