this or ncaa?

I was gonna rent one and buy the other. I had planned on buying ncaa, but then I saw the achievements. It looks like all pro football will take alot longer to get all achivements. so now I'm thinking about buying that and just renting ncaa. opinions?

Get NCAA...the Campus Legend mode is going to be awesome. All-Pro looks like it is going to be good, but I like to create my player and play through his career. I also think that online for NCAA will be better...just my opinion though.

I do, however, love the idea 2K8 brings with all the legendary players into one game. If you looking to player for achievements, then I would say get 2K8. I am unsure of how great their online mode will be, but after look at the achievements, I am sure plenty of people will be online...although most will be boosting.

I am buying NCAA, so I will let you know how it is...if you want. Good luck man. Let me know which one you get and if it is good or not...

dont listen to him. NCAA has been a good game forever. We have no idea how all pro football will be. I think all pro football should be a rental

2K had superior football games up until EA cornered the market on the NFL, so I think this game might be pretty solid.

I always thought that Madden was better than the 2K series (and yes I did have a Dreamcast for about 3 years, 2 of those years I didn't have a system that could play madden)...and for the past 3 years I've had NCAA marathon game sessions lasting on average 31 hours....sooo I would buy NCAA...but I myself am buying both since I have a bunch of stuff to trade in lol.

Well if you have a Copy of NCAA from 2005, 2006, or 2007, then you pretty much already have NCAA 2008.

Get All-pro. It's made by 2k sports, and they fill their games with extra features, instead of taking them away each year, as EA does with madden.

Campus Legend Mode is going to be awesome. And, it wasn't on 2005, 2006, or 2007...so, I would say the game is different. I would rent 2K this year and see how it goes. First year...may suck, may be awesome...

I bought both and over the years NCAA has been my favorite game but this year so far I like ALL STAR better its a lot of fun. Achievements are much tougher on ALL STAR. NCAA is great too but there are so many great things about ALLSTAR.

umm i have played both loved the 2K series but this game is ok nothing like their older football games..NCAA is actually really good..the campus legend mode is better then any feature this game has.

Get 2k8 because ALL NCAA GAMES ARE ALWAYS THE SAME.
So are madden.

it seems to me like 2k just wanted every1 to know that they're back and what potential they have. i didnt expect too much from them, but i figured we would get a great game, and i think they delivered a really good game.just not great. but next year will be the game to compare to madden and see if they have what it takes to become number one again. i say buy this game, you def wont regret it if you want a real football game.
